This game has been out for a while and reviewed to the ends of the earth but I can concur with everyone who came before me that this is an extraordinary adventure game. Nintendo has really knocked it out of the park with their games, and Zelda BotW is no different. Looking forward to the sequel!

This game is amazing,as my first Zelda game it has exceeded my expectations. It is truly a challenge that I have not experienced in quite a long time. Whereas most games give you difficulty settings there is non here. The developers made the game as it should be played. Visuals are on point for the type of hardware is in the system. Great work Nintendo. This is a must for any Switch owner.

I absolutely love this game. I wasn't very interested because I figured it would be another Skyward Sword eith different controls, but I was wrong. Breath of the Wild is so much fun, the world is sooooooooooooooo big, the controls are pretty simple and the game isn't super difficult, but it keeps you on your toes. My wife and I rush to be the first one to grab the joy cons so we get to play. 10/10.

Absolutely amazing game! Completely open world adventure

If you're a fan of Western RPG Adventure games and classic Zelda from Nintendo, this is the game you only though you'd play in heaven. The exploration, the NPC's that populate the world, and the overall adventure in this game is legendary. If you don't own a Switch, it's worth it just for this game. If you have a Wii U, dust it off and play now. Nothing will stop you until you defeat Calamity Ganon!

As my introduction to the Legend of Zelda series, BotW has shown me what an open world experience can be (where you can actually go anywhere and do anything almost right from the beginning). It has also sparked a love for the series that made me get the Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask games for the 3DS. I love this game and hope it inspires others as much as it has me.

when i play this game i go into my own peaceful world, i love the balance of combat, story, and beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend.

An instant classic for the Nintendo Switch. This is the first Switch game I played back in 2018 when I first got it but I ended up losing the cartridge so I just had to buy another for 2019-it’s that’s good! Immense open world with beautiful art style and such attention to detail can makes it easily a 100+ hour game if you’re a completionist.

Best Zelda game ever. A lot to do in this game. Never boring.

I love this game. It is my first true over world exploration game. I loved exploring and got the dlc to add to the longevity of the game. Some shrines I hated like the putt-putt one or ball launching ones. But overall I really enjoyed the game and I haven't finished it yet because I don't want it to end quite yet.

Never before have players been able to really search every surface on a Zelda game. Want to move a rock from your very first spawn to the entrance of the final boss? You should. With more customizing and environmental interaction, it's so easy to get lost in this world for hours at a time. This is by far the best game the Nintendo Switch has to offer and something you would not want to miss out on.

I haven’t played many Zelda games, so I can’t speak to how true it is to the franchise, but this is easily one of the best games overall I’ve ever played. The shrine puzzles were fun and challenging and the story was exciting. I thought the crafting food and potions would start to get annoying, but it is implemented very well so it doesn’t feel like a hassle at all.

I have no left my house since this game has been released. It has consumed my life, it has become my life. just kidding. However, this game is so well put together it is hard to put down, it is so beautiful, I absolutely love the open world concept and cannot get enough! I would recommend this came to anyone and everyone zelda fans and people who have never or don't like zelda games!

Before, I was overwhelmed for how massive this game over world is, but I'm glad I got over it quickly because this installment is charming and the game play is amazing. From braving the change of elements, to the useful quirky cooking system and smart battle mechanics. You'll definitely get your moneys worth with all the hours you'll be pouring into it.

One of the first games I bought for the switch and it appears on almost every must have switch owners list. Haven’t finished it yet but so far it has been pretty good, I’m not as in love with it as most but can see why it’s so well received. I’m not a fan of the weapons/shields breaking mechanic where you have a finite amount of uses before they are worthless. Makes me feel like the majority of the time I’m scavenging rather than progressing the story. The actual combat is entertains and the puzzles are fun.

I have deliberated this for awhile and come to the conclusion that this is the best game I have ever played in my lifetime. It makes me feel like a kid again playing the old games from the SNES era. There is very little hand holding, it just starts and you can explore the entire world at your leisure. It is magical.

If shadow of the colosus' skyrim and zelda had a baby it would be BOTW 10/10
