I guess it was worth the wait: this is the definitive Zelda game. Granted I have a few complaints about the difficulty level and amount of actual bosses, but you may never find every Korok seed in your lifetime! A must buy!

This game is beautiful. The graphics are breath-taking. Game play is immersive, open-world is amazing, and the controls are pretty straight-forward. It is a vast game with tons to do and completely engrossing. To me, easily the best Legend of Zelda game to date.

This game is simply amazing. Tons to do and completely open world. The graphics are unparalleled and the fact that they have finally incorporated voice actors in the Zelda series is a serious step up. I have barely started the game and I agree with IGN when they give it a 10/10.

One of the most well made games I have ever played. The Legend of Zelda has not always been my favorite, but this game is phenomenal. The animation is unique, the story is more than I would expect from a typical Zelda game, and the gameplay is quite immersive.

From what I hear... So, here's the thing, I haven't played this one much yet, just the opening really. Seems like the controls are going to be good, and the story fantastic. I'm told that the game is wonderful, and I'm really looking forward to getting more into it.

We purchased this game for my 12 year old son for Christmas and he's enjoyed playing every minute of it. For those that loved the old Zelda game from the 80s, this takes that concept but puts it in an open world with an Assassians Creed feel. Great family game!

This Zelda has been the best I've played in a long time. After being sorely disappointed by Skyward Sword, and then waiting through delay after delay for this one, it's refreshing to see Nintendo put out something so detailed. It's definitely worth the wait. The attention to detail in this game is phenomenal--it's challenging at times and forces you to be creative in your puzzle solving and in your combat strategies. While the graphics aren't on par with the realism of some of the newer PS4 or X1 games, Nintendo has gone with an aesthetically pleasing artistic style and many of the views are stunning. Both me and my girlfriend have put more than 100 hours into this game and still get sucked into it after playing for a few moments, even after beating the final boss.

To be fair I haven't played a Zelda since Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask... but still. The open world is impressive and the gameplay was amazing. The perfect reintroduction to Nintendo and video games in general for an old gamer who finally found some extra time and money to play.

The Reason To Buy A Switch

If you have a Switch, you have this game. If you don't have this game, you need to get this game. This Zelda game is one of the best in the entire series. Changing up the standard Zelda formula paid off for Nintendo - big time. Not only is the gameplay incredible, and not only are the puzzles intricate and just the right level of challenging, but the level of detail that has gone into this game is staggering. Every nook and cranny, every line of dialogue, every weapon, and every side quest - everything in the game has been carefully crafted so as to make the world feel alive and immense. If you play through the game and skip 80% of the material, sticking to the main quest and not dabbling in side missions, you're going to have a great time. If you spend your time searching out hidden easter eggs and explore every corner of the map, you're going to have a great time. If you love Zelda games, get this. It's worth every rupee.

Breath of the Wild doesn't hold your hand or baby the player. It's an open-world adventure game that is enormous with plenty to find and do. Just be sure to carry plenty of weapons and shields. You'll break them. A lot.

The design and execution is breathtaking. The storytelling is involved and consistent. One of the best games ever. It is a world big enough to lose yourself in for a long time. There is no finishing this in a weekend. More than worth the money,

The Evolution of the Zelda Legacy

Having grown up playing the original Zelda game in the NES, I had high hopes for this new Zelda game. The game did not disappoint. I love the new art style that was used for this game. It's not realistic but it does not need to be as this is a fantasy game. The game is huge! I have been playing since March 3rd when it first came out and I think I'm only about 70 - 75% complete. I love that the game does not hold your hand, you're basically on your own to do as you please once you exit the initial cave. You can attempt to go straight to Gannon from the beginning or you can explore and complete shrines and side quests to prepare for the final battle with Gannon. This game is definitely worth getting if you're an old Zelda fan or if you're a fantasy RPG fan as well.

If you own a switch and don't own this zelda, you are doing yourself a disservice. Let's be honest nintendo doesn't strive for that realistic look that the other systems do. That being said they excel at what they do and the images are fluid, open world concept is greatly appreciated.

Very fun game and interesting story. I don't like a lot of single player games but this ranks one of the best for me. It is my second Zelda game and it is a great release title. Hours of play and fun without the leveling system that most games use to increase character abilities.

I've never found myself so immersed in an open world before. A lot of times, open world games look outwardly impressive, but are really just filled with a bunch of tedious side quests to give the impression of a fully developed world. BotW doesn't have or need any of that. The land of Hyrule itself feels like a fully fleshed out character that exploring every nook and cranny is incredibly rewarding. The exploratory process that causes players to tell themselves, "Just one more shrine," or, "Just one more Korok seed," is addicting to the point where I found myself losing track of huge chunks of time, and before I knew it, the sun had set and I hadn't eaten all day. I know some gamers took issue with the deviation from the linear formula that has been a staple of the Zelda series for decades, but this is honestly the best Zelda game I've ever had the pleasure of playing, and I hope Nintendo continues to employ this framework in future titles.

This is one of the few games that lives up to its praise. Wow. This is probably the most challenging Zelda game in the series and the most immersive. They did an amazing job with creating an open world game that fits perfectly with the theme of the legend of Zelda. The combat actually takes practice and a bit of strategy. I can’t just ambush a group of enemies without a plan. I love the stealth elements, the weapons system and the infinite side quests. This game is a great because I have to earn the upgrades and search a large world for them, not just collect them on a linear path. This may be the only game I play for the next few months because there’s so much content. If you’re on edge about getting this game, just get it.
