Zelda is back and bigger than ever. When I first picked up the game and cleared the Great Plateau area I literally spent hours upon hours just exploring--walking around, figuring out shrines, climbing towers, cooking, fighting random enemies, etc. I never thought I could have this much fun not even playing the actual story. Once I finally did jump into the story it did not disappoint. The dungeons are great, the bosses were (for the most part) designed well, and the different ways to fight/solve puzzles is unprecedented in a Zelda game. Pick this game up.

This game is challenging and beautiful. I wish the weapons did last longer but it adds another layer of complexity to the game. I have not completed the game yet but I like it so far.

Great game with lots of bells and whistles just like Zelda always is

This game is phenomenal. I loved all the hidden quests and Easter eggs, that it doesn't hold your hand, or tell you what to do other than the vague quest details. The world is so populated while also being so massive that it doesn't ever feel empty. You always have something to do and something to see. For the first time in a long time you can use your imagination while playing a game. Almost everything can be used in crafting. Every little small bit can help you in major ways. (I had a tree branch left and used it to kill a guardian) TL:DR best game on switch and more than deserved game of the year.

Having played all of the zelda games, (yes all of them, even the gameboy color versions). I can say that this is a fresh and exciting take on a classic franchise and it really changes things up, much like windwaker did for gamecube. Old and new fans will find lots of joy in this game, the visuals are really nice, and gameplay is great! I could see there being a little bit of a learning curve for people who haven't ever played an MMO , or other game with a crafting system, or aren't used to gear based games. But other than that its really user friendly and the gameplay is amazing.

Great game! Fun for many hours! This is one of my top 5 fave games of all time. You will not regret purchasing this game. Runs great on my switch which is a non OLED switch.

Bought a Nintendo Switch literally for this game and Smash Bros. No regrets and many, many enjoyable hours spent playing these during the pandemic while at home. Many have a gripe over the weapon durability, but you get over it fairly quickly and soon have too many weapons to even keep in inventory. Well done Nintendo Team!

Love this Game!! It was an awesome new beginning to legend of Zelda and has such a great story. The game has held up pretty well these past few years, for having me and my husband play it quite a bit. Definitely one of my favorite Zelda games, for me being a Zelda fan.

This is the first Zelda game I have bought in a very long time. I am old enough to remember the originals so, pretty old in gaming terms lol. One thing I LOVE about this game is the exploration and fact that I can play with my kids and have no worries if it's inappropriate or not. I really think Nintendo is back with the switch. It is a unique console with a lot of potential. As for Zelda, it is a must have for any Nintendo switch owner.

Rarely is a game so good that I feel I didn't pay enough. It's a good feeling when you play something you know was caressed for a long time. Nintendo's didn't just put this out there, their development team clearly spent countless hours putting this masterpiece together. The Wild really comes to life here. Prepare to be immersed into this fantasy world. Warning -- you're going to spend a lot of time & you're not going to want to put it down. Almost shamefully, I took the day off work & I'm about 8 hours in, day one... and counting. Enjoy!

Greatest game ever made and runs incredibly smoothly on the switch lite

This game is great. Very fun and a HUGE world to explore. Took a little bit to get into it but I haven't put it down since.

This is not a 100+...it is a 200+ hours game. It has so much re-playability that is almost ridiculous, so it is definitely worth your money. If you are thinking about buying it, just go and buy it. You won't regret it. I recently started master mode after finishing the expansion, and I have played the game for more than 300 hours.... you can't do that with most games because they don't offer enough content to play for that many hours...Zelda breath of the wild does!

Amazing! Game reminds me of how much fun all Zelda games are and is truly beautiful and lobe the new open world feel.

This game is awesome with so much to do. Puzzles, cooking recipes, exploring, fighting, and saving the world. There is so much to do but you really have the option to choose how you will play the game and I love that. The world is huge so you won't run out of things to do. The game looks great on my 65" TV at 1080p and also looks great at 720p on the go. Zelda BOTW does user more battery on the go but you should still be able to get like ~3 hours of battery life.

I kept hearing things about this game. People were saying its the greatest game of all time. I thought, what do a bunch of nerds know? But it lived up to the hype. It is incredible. There's a story, yes, but it's really more of a sandbox game. Just so vast and huge. That sounds intimidating, but the environment is so engaging, i quickly fell in love with it. The game tracks all of the side quests, and the maps are very clear, so im not running around with tons of loose ends to tie up that i keep forgetting about. And it is absolutely breathtaking. Lush grass, mountains for miles, incredible sunsets. It's going to take me months to get through everything, and im sure I'll still feel like that's too soon. And if i ever get stuck, there's lots of online resources to help guide me. I got it on sale, which made me very happy, but i would have gladly paid full price.

It is a great game, with lots of hours of gameplay available for those with a completionist spirit. Despite adding a different twist to the typical Legend of Zelda series, it is a great game worth being part of the series.
