if you know zelda then you will like this game. buy tears of the kingdom too.

It's only been a week, but this game is looking to be the best Nintendo game I've ever played. It also has incredible scores on review websites. This game alone should be reason enough to get the Nintendo Switch.

What can I say about Breath of the Wild that hasn't been said before? I played through it on the WiiU and then when I got a switch played through it again. There is so much to do and see. And, all of it is gorgeous. Do yourself a favor and play this game.

Bought this for my Son as he is a Zelda fan and he said it is the best Zelda game to date. Open world exploring game makes it fun to go about the game as you want rather then to have to follow a path required to beat it. Now if I could just get him to do his homework......

For being a game several years old, it still holds up to today's standards. This will be a game I show my kids one day.

I feel like I'm echoing most professional video game reviewers when I say this: Breath of The Wild is a fantastic game. I was nervous about an open-world Zelda experience, but the essence of the franchise was kept, and I've already put in 100+ hours. Well done Nintendo!

I am a Zelda fan. This is a fact. It doesn't make my review biased though because alot has changed. I won't say it's better, but I certainly won't say it's worse. I will say however, that I haven't been so immersed in a world since Fallout 3 (which this beats hands down).

Truly an amazing game, I purchased the digital so I never lose the cartridge. I have played it multiple times and just the action, controls and gameplay make this a must have for the switch!

I always wondered what it would be like to play this series on the level of Skyrim with customization and all the fun of a true adventure. My wish came true with this title and Again nintendo has shown me why I've stuck with them most of my life

Bought as gift for my son. Excellent game in the series. He love it!

Breath of the wild is such a fun and challenging game. The visuals are amazing. You can even go straight to the boss and fight him early on if you want (I don't reccomend that). Its definitely a game that teaches you survival.

This game is truly amazing. I had doubts at first when I first got it. It seemed boring and relatively empty. That was before I finally finished the beginning sequence and started the real story. Honestly, this game is one of the greatest I have ever played.

This game has a lot of adventure, full of puzzles and mystery. Very big story playthrough, definitely different than any other LOZ game I’ve played so far

I was playing red dead 2 before buying this game. After I bought it, I did not play red dead again. The game is beautifully designed and has hours of play to it. Looks great on the switch even when playing portable. Highly recommended.

Really good game!! It took me around 2 weeks to finish and even then I still had a lot of small side stuff to unlock

This game took my breath away I had a wild experience. I would definitely recommend naming your child after Zelda. So excuuuuuuuuse me princess this game is hard to pass up

It was a long wait but man was it worth it. The game has such depth and amazing game play. I love how you can physically move the controllers to aim better. I'll get months of play out of this beautiful game

This game is absolutely amazing! I have been playing it for about 4 weeks and I am still addicted. There is so much content in this game that it will make your head spin. You will not disappointed. I would buy the Nintendo Switch just for this one game. It is that good!

I hate when people experience something new and then act like it is one of the best things ever after only a short period of time. I usually believe that you need more time to pass before you can really get a feel for where something will ultimately stand. However, this is an exception. It's Zelda Skyrim and it is the best Nintendo game in years. I loved The Wind Waker back in 2003. I then went on to start Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass, and Twilight Princess, only to stop playing all of them after a dungeon or two. I didn't even bother trying Skyward Sword or A Link Between Worlds. This game is special. It's right up there with Ocarina and I didn't even think that was possible. My only complaint is the slowdown. It seems to be mostly due to the long grass in the large central part of the map. It usually only lasts a few seconds, but it is definitely severe and unfortunate. However, this is still easily a 5 star game.
