I bought a Switch just to Play BOTW, and I couldn't be happier. Breath of the Wild has the delightful discoverability and puzzle-solving of classic Zelda games, with fluid combat and a truly beautiful art style – Hyrule is a living painting in BOTW. Nintendo peppers in a few of the visual and audio cues Zelda fans will get chills over; enemies explode into dust like in Windwaker, and activating a Shrine brings back the familiar "anticipation music" from opening treasure chests in Ocarina of Time. This is a modern, open world love letter to Zelda fans that makes Bethesda games wish they had this much charm and wonder.

Read the reviews here and anywhere, it's one of the greatest games to come out in a long time. Worth checking out, for sure!

This is honestly my first Legend of Zelda title and I am quite impressed. Lose so much time with this game, but so much fun!

A good next step from Skyward Sword using better technology/graphics. A bit expensive, but it is worth it if you are a true Zelda fan.

Breath of the Wild offers so much freedom that it's almost painful to put it down. Highly recommended; this game is a must-have to any fan of Zelda and/or open-world RPGs.

It's very fun to play. You can play it in short or long sessions, but most of my short sessions turn quite long because I can't put it down.

My boys love this game. Especially my teenager. He wants to play this game non stop. On second thought, maybe I should give it 1 star instead because he plays it too much!

The Legend of Zelda series has finally grown up! No more hand-holding and annoying sidekicks. You can go and do what ever you want at any time (after small tutorial area).
