Great open world Zelda game. Hours and hours of content. Beautiful looking game.

This is a joy to play! It's open world and provides just enough direction to know where to go but it doesn't stop you from exploring. If you go to an area that's above your level, you will be one-shot. The music is minimal which ties in with the plot of the story. I miss the music from Ocarina of Time but I like how this music matches the feel of the story. Definitely worth getting.

Fun game, open world, lots of freedom, great graphics, and also good story line

We already owned this for Wii U, but my son wanted it for Switch for an early Christmas present. He immediately commented on how much smoother the graphics are on the Switch than the Wii U, and the DLC (expansion pack) is a huge hit with him. Improved gameplay and improved content equals one very happy boy, which makes me a happy dad!

I love this game. I had the game ordered and ready in a few hours locally, and it was price competitive to other places. In my opinion buying a switch 1 game if the upgrade pack is available is a no brainer. I spent the extra 10 bucks I would have spent for the switch 2 version on the upgrade pack and I now I can choose which version I want to play. This can be important for some gamers as the switch 1 and 2 versions allow for different glitches should that interest you, and the game is easier to share IMO with a switch 1 physical copy.

Such a beautiful game! It’s been out for years now and I finally got around to purchasing a switch. This was the first game in the cart after I decided on buying the switch. Great graphics, great story, lots of content, what more could you ask?

If you have played Zelda games up through the different Nintendo consoles, you are absolutely blown away to see the graphics and gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. With an open world such as this game offers, there are hours upon hours of gaming with this Zelda offering. I would HIGHLY recommend this game for the Nintendo Switch.

This isn't your standard Zelda game. It's open world with very little hand holding, which makes for an adventurous time. Expect to spend dozens of hours exploring and learning new tricks while you rescue Hyrule from Calamity Gannon. Easily the best game on Switch and one of the best Zelda games ever made.

This game is an incredible mix of open world and classic Zelda. The only negative is that weapons break easily - but in that sense, the game forces you to rotate weapons more often. This is a top notch game, and it's clear that the creators were paying very close attention to details.

One of the funnest video games I've played. Ever. Has a wonderful open world feel without taking itself too seriously like many RPGs do these days. It is like a mash up of Fable and Skyrim in that it's cartoony like the former but very deep in stuff to do like the latter. Combat is better than both and puzzles are very satisfying. If you can only get one switch game, get this.

What can I say that hasn't been said about this game already? I've always been a big Legend of Zelda fan but this game is IMO the best game in the series. Nintendo really took it to the next level with this chapter in the series. I am excited for all there is to come with the Legend of Zelda. If you own a Switch and you don't have this game already, what are you waiting for!!??

This game is beautiful. The art style, the music, and the story all come together to make an amazing experience. It is not a perfect game but it is worth every dollar. This has been my first console Zelda experience so I can am definitely not what you would call a Zelda fanboy. If you've got the money and enjoy open world RPGs you should definitely buy this game.

When I first heard of the new Zelda game being an open world concept I was hesitant. Sure an open world is great! But that also means there are plenty of opportunities for the developers to let us down. Nevertheless, as I watched more and more footage of the game I grew even more excited and decided that I wanted this launch title in my Switch library on day one. I stood in line and attended the Best Buy midnight launch event. The rest is history. This game looks gorgeous, has an expansive map and is filled to the brim with things to explore, collect and do. I've had the game now over a week and have logged in a solid 70 hours (at this point I've put more time into this game than my actual job). And through those 70 hours I've never had a moment where I felt bored. The open world system allows you to travel wherever you want whenever you want. There is no side kick to hold your hand through the game. You're given a very brief tutorial at the beginning and then released into this massive world. The game encourages you to experiment with things and find your own path. There is no set path and not one solution to any of the puzzles and because of that every player can have a unique experience. The story is well crafted (from the parts I have experienced) and truly makes you feel as if you're on an epic adventure. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid gaming experience.

This game is beautiful and definitely a lot to do I have played it for a week straight and still feel like I have gotten nowhere but I am still enjoying it. The one complaint is there isn't really a straight and narrow way to play so I have ended against some enemies I am not ready for and they make climbing in areas next to impossible but all in all have loved this game.

This is my first time playing a Zelda video game. I was impressed by how tight everything is. Open world video game until the point that you can go anywhere in the map a few minutes after you started it. Beautiful graphics and magnificent gameplay. My only complain would be that I expected a much better story and script, which it doesn’t have.

Despite the fact that you're more or less thrown into the water head first without clear direction, this game is amazingly expansive and full of amazement. A visually stunning masterpiece, easily the best Zelda game to date. The story is captivating and thrilling, as are the puzzles and combat. A wonderful and refreshing take on the Zelda franchise, this is easily the best one yet.

There is no handholding in this game. You are told where to go next and then left to your devices. Explore that fiery mountain or trek through piles of snow. Just make sure you have the proper clothes ready! You decide where to go and when to go there. With lots of side quests and so many features to make the journey a memorable one, this game is perfect for anyone since it conforms to what you want to make it. Want it short? Go for objectives. Want it long? Find every collectable out there. Want to just cook food? Go for all the recipes! Want to fight things? Go hunting for enemy strongholds. This is your game to explore and get a breath of the wild.

this is a great game. I know everyone else bought it for Zelda, I bought mine for pokemon (coming in November), but I picked up Zelda to see what the hype was about (never played a Zelda before) and wow. im having so much fun with this game. its not insanely hard, and there are so many distractions along the way from point a to point b. glad I bought this game.

Whether you are young or old, Zelda newbie or veteran... Breath of the Wild offers one of the best adventures available in the medium. Period. The exploration aspect of this game cannot be overstated...at times, the stillness and natural beauty of the game create a zen-like experience. Would give this 6 stars if I could. Nintendo at its best.
