This is a game with ton's of content to keep you going. Nintendo has put fourth a great game. I didn't know too much about it other than hearing great things about it, and I was absolutely blown away in the first hour of playing it. This is hands down, one of the best games I have ever played. It is beautiful, complex, and breathtakingly enormous.

I have owned BOTW for about a year and a half now, and when I initially tried to play when I got it I wasn't into it. The game starts slow, and I didn't care for the weapon durability system. Decided to try it again with Tears of the Kingdom coming out, and I'm now like 50 hours into it. Once you set-up the main quest and get out of the first area the game becomes everything people hype it to be, and the game mechanics started to click. The world is gigantic and there's so much to discover. The last Zelda game I played was OoT when I was a kid, and I'm thoroughly enjoying my time now with Zelda again as an adult 25 years later.

This game is truly amazing and by far the best installment out of the entire series! The story is engaging, the graphics and gameplay are top notch with plenty to do to keep you playing for months on end. If you’re on the fence about buying a Nintendo Switch, you could buy it simply for this game alone and never be disappointed.

Great game, excellent story, graphics could be improved, but great graphics overall. The controls are responsive and we'll balanced. The DLC is a plus but not needed to enjoy the game to its fullest. If you are a fan of Zelda, this is one that you need to add to your collection.

Growing up as a child, Zelda was on of the first games that I ever played all the way through and beat. Since then, the Zelda series has always brought adventure into the game. If you're a huge fan of Zelda, you need to grab this game. New to the Zelda series? You won't regret your purchase. Rich story, and awesome game play.

If you're a Zelda fan, this is one game you don't want to miss. Action packed, excellent backstory and dialogue. I guess I am a bit biased being that I've always been a fan of the Zelda series on Nintendo. You won't be disappointed. Endless quests and side quests to keep your interest sparked.

Fun to play. New to saga, still have a lot to learn. Good game for the committed. It takes a hour or so to understand the storyline and controls. Animation's and tutorials move a bit slow

I have only played it for about 5-10% of its size. In my very limited gaming experience, my favorite type of game used to be combat racing. Zelda (Breath of the Wild) may have changed that for me. I love the technical side of it. The sound makes me feel like I am there, in nature. The only part that I don't like about it (and it's not Zelda in particular, but these types of games) is the complexity of things that you acquire, the large number items that you can have in your inventory and use to cook, for example. I repeat that my video-gaming experience is limited, but this title has redefined my expectations of what is possible in terms of beauty, art, direction, and technics, especially on such modest hardware as the switch. I purchased the game and tried it because of hearing people about the experience of it being special, and it did deliver; now Zelda holds a special place in my heart too!

This is an amazing game. It exceeded my expectations even when I was hyped for it months in advance. I am an avid zelda fan and enjoyed how different and open world BOTW was. My only regret is finishing the game. I put over 160 hours into the game and still play here and there. I see huge replay value in this game. I will be keeping it for a long time!

Is this the best game of all time? It's possible. To even be in the running so soon after it came out should speak volumes about the quality of the game. I almost feel bad for the inevitable Breath of the Wild sequel...it has an unenviable job of following up a masterpiece.

BotW offers a huge, dynamic open world to explore, with many things to do and discover. The shrines and temples offer lots of puzzles to solve, and while the game starts off very challenging as you progress it can be as easy or hard as you want it to be. And the characters/story while a little on the lean side got me emotionally invested nonetheless.

From the beautiful open world, to the story and sound track, Nintendo held nothing back for this game. Definitely recommend for any switch owner for their library, and it deserves all of the scores and praise it's been getting. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get back to my game.

A Zelda for a new age and a great expansion on their previous gameplay and exploration!

My boyfriend absolutely loves this game. He plays it all day. The graphics in this game are very beautiful and the storyline is great. There is always something to explore and there are lots of small surprises built within the game as well.

This is the open-world Legend of Zelda game that all diehard Zelda fans have been waiting for. Because of the open-world aspect, some may not like the game because it can feel less linear than previous Zelda titles, but I like it because it makes the game feel much longer and encourages adventure and exploration. And this Zelda game world that Nintendo has created is so rich, detailed, and breathtakingly vast in size that players who do not take the time to explore the game world are missing out on the majority of the game, and what is, in my opinion, the best component of it. I would consider this game as one of the best that I have played this decade, and for any Zelda fan especially, it is a must-have game. I got this game as a gift from my girlfriend, then after playing it for a few months, I went out and bought the game for my younger brother, who is also a serious Nintendo fan, because he wasn't sure if he'd like it or not. He's been playing it non-stop since then. I have it for the Wii U and my brother now has it for the Switch; I haven't noticed any differences between the two versions. However, if you have neither system and you call yourself a Zelda fan, this game is, in my eyes, a good enough reason to buy a Switch.

This is easily the most stunning achievement in video games in a while and really captivates the player immediately and encourages exploration. Although not 100% perfect, it comes pretty close and is absolutely essential for any switch owner. Frame rates stutter occasionally and are especially bad in some areas, but do not hinder game play in most cases.

I absolutely love this game. Its complex but easy to undestand at the same time. The amount of hidden items, and stuff to do is outstanding. Been playing it everyday since i bought it and i am not even 50% into the game. Its graphics are very good and the story is simply excellent. Every switch owner should play this.

You already all know what Zelda is. With this latest entry, the team did a great job of building a living, breathing world with hundreds of details and distractions everywhere you turn. Hunt, fish, explore, seek treasure or rare hidden enemies with powerful rewards. Dont take my word for it, pick it up and check it out! You won't regret it! :)

Breath of the Wild is a must have and play game for the Nintendo Switch. Beautiful visuals. Excellent controls. Great depth and adventures. Lots to explore and unlock. This is the game that brought me to the Nintendo Switch and is keeping me there for the long haul! Highly recommend for any age, include old gamers like me (ahem, 45+!).
