This is honestly the most addicting game ever. I love how much you can do, and the graphics are amazing. I love living in this world!

Zelda is a game I have enjoyed for years. The latest installment has better graphics, interesting worlds and familiar characters. The controls take a little to get used to on the Switch as it plays more like a PS4 control with varying camera angles and independent controls. A fun new world to explore.

I have been a huge fan of the Zelda series since the days of the NES and every entry since then so I know the series very well. Even though my love for the series never faltered, I think that Nintendo made the correct judgement when they decided that it was time to shake things up and the result is amazing with exploration feeling exhilarating, the combat is rewarding, and the new ideas just work.

A+ Zelda game and if you own a Switch it is a must buy for it. Tons of content and unique items and locations to discover. Highly recommended!

Last time I played Zelda was on the Super Nintendo in the early nineties. I bought the Switch primarily as mobile device. Haven't hooked it up to the TV since I got it and I'm just blown away how great that game works and looks on the Switch. Don't compare it to a "real" console - it is a handheld that can be connected to a TV. Zelda itself is a great value and you can easily sink 150+ hours into this game. You definitely miss out if you don't get it if you are slightly interested in this kind of game. You got a Switch? Grab Zelda. These two go together perfectly.

Even though the game is limited by the Switch hardware, that doesn't stop this game from bringing innovative elements to the open-world genre. For one thing, I love how it does not handhold you. There is a bit of a tutorial at a beginning, but it's largely hands-off and after that, you're basically free to explore. Most open-world games plop a waypoint on the map and tell you to go to that spot. However, in this game, you get to set your own waypoints. The way the game gives you agency is what puts it above all other open-world games.

You have to buy it there’s so much to do the story is great love all the new features but still has that old Zelda feel. Best game of 2017 for me

Simply amazing. So much to do. Even when you "finish" the game, there's so much more to do. 100% completing it will have you playing for endless hours.

Soooooo addicting. Very easy to get obsessed with this game. Graphics are great. Fun action. Very immersive world and experience. Good fun.

So once you have found a Nintendo Switch (they are in short supply because of Covid 19) at a not so inflated price, then according to my teenage girls the game Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a 'must have'. I found it at Best Buy - my go to place for anything electronic - and they had it in stock at my local store for kerbside pickup. Although I have not played it myself, the game is visually pretty stunning and takes a while to do from what I can tell. I would recommend it.

I do not say something like this lightly as there have been so many good Zelda games in the past, but Breath of the Wild is without a doubt the best Zelda game I've ever played and one of the best games that I've played in general. I would say more, but all of the fun in BotW comes from discovereing all the different nuanced mechanics and details that it offers so do yourself a favor; buy a Switch (or a Wii U I guess), buy Breath of the Wild, and explore!

I have never been a fan of of the Zelda franchise and have only tried a few of the past games on different systems. Never drew my attention. I picked this title up because, as of this review, there are not many games available for the Switch. I'm so glad I gave it a try. This game is fantastic! It's an open world game with side missions and a main quest. This game is along the lines of Fallout and Elder Scrolls. It's a perfect companion for the Nintendo Switch on the go and on the tv. This is a must have title. No need to be a Zelda fan to enjoy this game.

The game itself is amazing, the story is great (haven’t completed it as of yet). My only con of the game is how often you have to swap different items in battle without the ease of having to go into and out of the menu screens. The graphics, the depths of the enemies, the variable load outs... everything is well developed.

This is my favorite Zelda game by far. This series was meant to be open world. I'll easily be able to spend 50+ hours on it. The game looks amazing too!

Great new Zelda game. Great graphics. Huge areas to explore and puzzles to solve. Only bad thing about the game is that weapons break after so many hits

This is quite possibly the best game I have played in years. The open world is amazing. You can literally climb any mountain and explore the entire map.

OMG, I haven't played a Zelda game in a long time and let me just say, this has got to be the best one EVER! The world is so huge and you can just roam around in it and just have fun forever. Personally, I don't care if I ever complete the game 100% because I am just having the best time exploring and doing the tasks as they come up. I can't say enough good about this game...I FRIGGIN' LOVE IT!
