I played the Wii U version previously that I borrowed from a friend.
This version is pretty much exactly the same but better in slight ways like graphics, FPS, and the controls feel better than the Wii U pad.
I which there were more game like it, and there are, but not quite in the same way.
Admittedly you have to be prepared and like the kind of game this is. It tends to have sections where you may feel like you aren't accomplishing anything or having to go way out of your way to get somewhere to complete certain quests. For me, and many of my friends, thats part of the joy of it. Even when I'm not doing a specific task the landscape and scenery within do well to occupy your eyes while you travel from place to place.
Oh, and a somewhat inconsequential thing thats not about gameplay is that the cover jacket for the physical case can be flipped to display a artistic piece instead of the standard title and info as can be seen in the included image below.

You shouldn't even need this review to know you should get this game. This game is a great entry in the zelda series. There is a ton of content and a lot of things to do. If you try to do everything available you have many hours of fun ahead of you.

I am still playing this game far after I bought it, which says a lot. Some people like to speed run games, but this game has so many little things to do (side quests, korok seeds, etc). As a completionist, I definitely am getting serious bang for my buck from this game.

The best Zelda game to date. If you're any bit a fan you need to play this. Cinematics are awesome, story is fitting, battle is fluid and the game is challenging. A ton of hours can be spent just exploring. Very intuitve and fun game.

The Nintendo switch is the first ever mobile and home console. To start off the consoles release with a new zelda game was great idea. Not only is zelda widely popular, the game perfectly displays what is capable with such a versatile console. It's amazing the amount of possibilities in the game! Such a huge world to explore!

I haven’t played a Zelda game in years this is the first game I played in a while specifically because it’s one of the most popular games on the switch. It’s such a cozy game is easy to play easy to learn and you could play at your own pace you could choose to play around and collect materials or just play the game and just kill off objectives. It’s so worth the buy. But you have to have some what of a brain being the game doesn’t force you to complete goals. And that’s a GOOD thing!

I have an XB1, PS4 and other systems and left them all to collect dust just to play this beauty. Graphics are great, sound is always impressive and story sends awesome so far.

This is a really Solid and Gorgeous game, with a big expansive world and lots to do. Easily sunk multiple hours into this game, this indeed is one of the best games on the Switch, a must have for all owners of the console.

This game is fantastic! It was the first game I got for my switch and I don’t regret it one bit. There is so much gameplay and things to discover that I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it. I really recommend having this game for your switch.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild is by far the BEST Zelda game to date. Spend close to 200+ hours playing in the vast open world and still have a lot to discover. If you own a Nintendo Switch, this is a MUST BUY!

For decades now zelda the formula for Zelda games have stuck a very standard way of game play go to this dungeon before going to that but beat her of the wild go back to where it all started no set dungeons no linear path your set out in the and play the game as you see not even in skyrim have I felt so free as to how to complete a game it one of the finest games I have ever play and definitely see myself coming back for more

I remember A Link to the Past on the SNES. This game brings back so many memories for me! To be honest, I have not played a single of the newer Zelda games, other than this one. I love it.
