I have been chasing that OoT feeling since I was a kid, replaying every release of OoT and Majoras on whatever gen Nintendo console was out at the time. Breath of the Wild will break that cycle. All I want to say is that if you enjoy action rpg get this game. If you enjoy fantastical settings and the enjoyment of exploration and discovery that an open world provides get this game. If you enjoy rich stories, vibrant characters, and epic backdrops get this game.

Did you enjoy playing Zelda Ocarina of Time? If so, you're going to enjoy this game. I bought the Switch just to play this game. So far I've been playing for about 2 weeks and haven't even completed half of the things I need/want to do. The game is open world and you can spend literally hours and hours doing random stuff. I spent like 40 minutes yesterday trying to climb a mountain to get to a tower I needed to get to. Lets just say... This game is excellent!

It will eat your life, but real life is overrated anyway. It has all the expansiveness of an open world game like Skyrim, but keeps the Zelda-style temples and puzzles that make the series what fans know and love about it. I had a copy as soon as it came out for WiiU and just re-bought for Switch. It's worth it for the koroks alone!

Even though this was released a couple of years ago, it is still one of the most beautiful games made for the switch. Zelda purists will knock it for a lack of depth as a dungeon crawler, but the decision to make it an open world game opting for a larger number of mini-puzzles as opposed to 5+ detailed dungeons has defined a truly amazing game with a huge world. Definitely pick this up!

It really fulfilled all my expectations. This game is. Piece of art from the beginning until the end. It has an amazing story that traps you In. Great fights and big world full of different things, rewards and it seems to never end but It doesn’t get u bored never. You just want to keep playing

The gushing reviews have been pouring in for a while, but this time you can believe the hype. Breath of the Wild delivers on the familiar aspects of the Zelda franchise with solid action and puzzling, and then updates it with a truly rich and expansive world for exploration. Stunning visuals, beautiful mosaic and moving story make this one of my favorite games ever.

This is a Zelda Evolution. Could be the best one! The new open world has expanded the previous nature of progressing through a Zelda game. The game leaves it up to you to decide how you want to beat Zelda, explore and complete the game. This game DOES NOT hold you hand. It's a Survival Adventure Game that keeps you on the edge of your seat and requires planning to defeat enemies and puzzles. I love this game and see myself playing this game for a LONG TIME.

True to the myriads of reviews, this is one of the best Zelda games - one of the best Nintendo games - that have ever come out. Bit of a slow start, but all of the open world ingredients start to come together to feel like a Zelda title and it's great! My only gripe are the controls, but this might be worth buying a Pro controller for.

Very fun game with such an expansive and diverse world to explore. Being a fan of the Legend of Zelda games since NES, this was definitely a purchase worth making. Such crisp graphics and details, hold true to that wymzical and adventurous feeling that I knew the game for. It’s definitely worth adding to your Nintendo Switch collection!

No seriously, I can't put it down. I can't stop gliding everywhere and beating monsters to collect their junk and upgrade my clothes at the Kakariko Great Fairy Fountain. It's so endlessly entertaining and beautiful. It's such an amazing leap forward for the Legend of Zelda. There are so many things to find, create, destroy, and do. Nintendo always delivers.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild was the first game I bought for the Nintendo Switch and I don't have any regrets. This game offers a vast open world for players to explore, which may or may not suit all playing styles. The graphics are amazing and the storytelling is interesting enough to keep me captivated. Breath of the Wild brilliantly showcases the best of what the Switch offers and is a must have for any player's library.

What more can be said about this fantastic game than what has already been said? Breath of the Wild is perhaps one of the best Zelda games ever made, a true competitor to Ocarina of Time for that title. This game shines in its exploration, actions, and puzzles. There is always another way to complete a task. Is the game perfect? Heavens, no. But it gets very close to being so. Once again, it deserves all the praise it has received.

I have played every 3D Zelda game made for consoles. This is by far the best Zelda game ever made and it is one of my top 5 games of all time. I have played over 85 hours, have completed the main story, and I still get lost in the massive open world. I can't imagine how much more value the game will have with the upcoming DLC with all new modes and storylines.

Amazing game! Ive always been a fan of Zelda, since it forst came out on the original NES. The game has a huge open world, and great game play. I would recommend it, especially to Zelda fans.

Can't say I wasn't a bit worried about an open world Zelda game since I don't normally play that type very often. But it manages to take a hodgepodge of ideas and puts it in a fun world to explore. Most of my time is just spent wandering around looking at the world which isn't something I do often. Sure it still has a few flaws like the weapon system being a bit rough at the start. Yet none of those flaws are big enough to keep me from recommending it.

Like Tears of the Kingdom, Breath of the Wild is an open world with lots of possibilities. The graphics are good. Would recommend this if you are a Legend of Zelda fan

Never played a zelda game before but enjoyed this one. Did not finish it yet. I did find this game especially at the early stages of the game to be really challenging. The game doesn't exactly tell you what to do, they leave alot of it up to you. Not that thats a bad thing but just keep that in mind when you are starting this game off,

I absolutely LOVE this game. I haven't gamed in a while and decided to get back to gaming as a little "hobby" as a kind of "getaway" from reality--mom life and full time job. The graphics are amazing--so is the story line and "freedom" of movement in the game. MUST - BUY!
