Every Zelda game that came before BOTW now feels like they have been stepping stone for this installment. I don't want to spoil anything because I want you to expirence the game for yourself. I will say that the weapons breaking has been a moot point for players. In my opinion the system is designed to make you immerse yourself in combat. I approach battles in different ways. I sneak I use outside objects. This is the first Zelda game that doesn't feel like a sword and shield hack n slash. I know that sounds harsh but during my travels battling never became dull for me.

First off, this game is incredible. A huge open world to explore and do whatever you want and go wherever you want. Being able to play on the go and on the TV makes it even more enjoyable. I have put probably close to 100 hours into this and still haven't found everything. The negative on this is the dungeons. There aren't any. Instead of dungeons you are tasked to take back control of "devine beasts" which are basically dungeon replacements. Being an avid Zelda fan for years and years, this was kind of a disappointment. The story line is a little weak, but that is expected with an open world game. Just a couple negatives, but those in no way ruin the game. Still one of my favorites of all time.

Even if you're not a big Zelda fan, this is an amazing game in general. It's large open world experience allows for hours of fun and something new to explore around every corner. Great game for all ages.

This is probably the best Zelda game yet. It is truly open world and allows for the style of free play that every Zelda fan deserves. I'm probably gonna spend hundreds of hours in Hyrule this time through.

A free roaming, free climbing? I'm sold! The colors, story, interactions are very intuitive. The exploration and shrine based way of discovery is great! I've been enjoying it very much! I highly recommend!

Such an awesome game! Beautiful and immersive... Really brings the classic Zelda feel back with puzzles and the combat. Open works is so much fun, could just roam around for hours.

It's worth picking up this game, whether you're fairly knowledgeable with the series or a beginner. Long hours of open world and great graphics with great gameplay.

The graphics and story are very detailed and intercut. Very pleased, leaves me wanting to play for hours and hours. If your a Zelda fan, this game is a must.

Awesome game with a great story and a bunch of stuff to do. I will never get bored of it.

This was a gift for my husband. He started playing it Christmas Day and loves it! It is the perfect amount of fun, challenge, and fantasy. I commend Best Buy for having this item and at a reasonable price. Many other retailers either were out of stock or had an inflated price. Great game, excellent deal.

This game changes how open-worlds work in big ways. I love that it's up to the player to place markers at interesting places and truly explore rather than being given a bunch of icons that point out what's important. It helps the world feel like a real place rather than a checklist. The shrines throughout the world are fun to handle and the rules the game sets stay consistent enough that you can successfully play around with them and solve numerous scenarios in various ways. It's a breath of fresh air in a stale style of game-making that I can't recommend enough.

Really like this Zelda game for the huge open world. Can do anything, even beat the game in the first few hours (although that would be challenging).

This game is addicting! I have played it for a few weeks now and I still have terrain to travel. Visually splendid and the story is strong. A fantastic chapter in an incredible saga.

The game looks and plays great. While the world isn't as open as they would lead you to believe, it does a good job of letting you explore the surrounding areas and play the game at your own pace.

A must have for Switch owners and Zelda fans! An epic tale with a vast open world. I’ve barely made a dent, but I’m hooked!

There is so much to do in this game. The story, graphics, gameplay are all superb. My only Qualm is that there aren't separate save files for multiple players. Hands down one of the best games ever.

Zelda is now an open world title and seems to be the future direction of the series. The story is a little lacking, but the exploration, action, and sense of accomplishment in this game is amazing!

Nintendo is known for making amazing Zelda games and this one doesn't disappoint. Already 40+ hours in and not bored yet. Worth every single penny. If you're a Nintendo/Zelda fan, this gam is a must get.
