The world just feels like it keeps going. There are plenty of challenging battles and quests but there are also wide plains and dense forests to get lost in.

Drop all other games you are playing and play this one. There's something in it for everyone. You can spend time exploring the world, where every location you see can be traveled too. You can search for combat and test your skills with tough enemies by hack and slashing or using creative and unique solutions. You can hunt for puzzles and quests that require a bit more on the brains. Along the way, you may end up doing all three, having discovered a beautiful place and lost plenty of sleep. As a small reference, I hadn't played any 3D Zelda games before and I felt very comfortable within a few hours of playing.

I was blown away how beautiful the game runs and looks on handheld mode. As the player, this is the first time we have the full control of an open world Zelda game

This Zelda game is different from the previous ones. You start off without gear, like before. However, you can take weapons off fallen enemies. Every weapon, shield, or bow you get will break. The higher quality ones will last longer.
You don't take on dungeons. You find shrines, which you have to solve. Some have enemies, some are puzzles, others are a combination of both. You don't have to go in any specific order, or they can be skipped entirely. The world is huge, beautiful and dangerous. If you don't mind the departure from the classic Zelda formula, you might love this game.

I love the open world feel, and they have done a great job making it look good both on the TV and in handheld mode. I've only gotten a little way in, but I've loved it so far.

I was skeptical about an open world Zelda, but this exceeded every expectation I had. 100 hours in, and I feel like I could put in another 100 before I even finish it.

This is one of the best if not the best games I've ever played. The open world is fun to explore and will provide many, many hours of fun! I can't recommend this game enough.

Just an awesome evolution of the Zelda series from the old formula to a new open world. Traversing the sprawling landscape is rewarding and fun. A must play for everyone!

I bought this as a gift for my fiance and he loved it. The graphics and audio are beautiful, he says the gameplay is phenominal and the story is fantastic.

Easily the best Zelda to date (and that's saying alot considering they're all amazing games) and so far the most fun I've had in any game in a long time. If you like any of the other Zelda's you'll def love this game, no doubt about it. And with it getting 10's across the board and probably the highest ratings for any game in the modern era, I'd say I'm not alone in my opinion. I bought the Switch just to play this game (which the Switch is really amazing as well, just needs time to widen it's library and better it's UI) and im not upset at all for the money I spent, cuz its easily the best launch game for any console ever.

My kids are both 10 and 7, and they each own a copy for the Switch (one of them is mine). They have over 300 hours of game time logged in... over the holidays... there is so much content available, you'll never get bored. With the add-on DLC, it is well worth the additional $20. This game has an amazing music soundtrack... a favorite being music score for The Kara Kara Bazaar. Highly recommend the purchase of the The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild--Creating a Champion art book also.

OMG!...I bought this game for my son for Christmas & it was convenient to order it online & use curbside pick-up for quick service, but what matters most is that my son LOVES this game. He received several games for Christmas but this is his absolute favorite.
