This game really made me fall back in love with gaming. On top of the enjoyable storyline, this game has stunning graphics, engaging gameplay, and the music helps set the mood. I have put in over 100 hours because I keep exploring and getting distracted my side missions but I want to keep playing more.
I would recommend this to a friend

This is by far one of the best games to come out in the last few years. Vast open world, gorgeous, and never boring. Highly recommended!

I’m amazed this game runs on the Switch at all, let alone so well! BotW is such a beautiful, expansive, well-written game that has given me dozens of hours of fun so far. It’s challenging, but not TOO challenging in my opinion… and the learning curve is decent! I’ve almost completed the main storyline in 60 hours with time spent wandering as well, which you’ll want to do — there’s so much to discover and it’s so much fun doing so! Just make sure you get the climbing gear and complete shrines to upgrade your stamina as well as your health capacities.

A reimagining of the Zelda formula in the best way. This game is a gigantic open world, but utterly filled with life. The world itself might look barren, but there are shrines, which are mini-dungeons, and Korok puzzles all over the place! The cities and towns are filled with things to do and people reacting to your achievements. The weapon variety is vast, and the durability system means your weapons, shields, and bows will break - but every enemy you fight will be dropping new ones at a vastly greater rate. This game really makes you feel like you're living off the land and its creatures!

I've been playing Zelda since the N64 days and none has captured my attention the way that this game has. The open world format with so much to do is incredible.

It's unmistakably Zelda after a little bit of play. The music, the action, and the storyline are familiar and translate well from past iterations to the somewhat cell-shaded 3D graphic look of BotW. The game can be a little "grindy" at times with repetitive tasks that are somewhat time-consuming, but the beauty, appropriate difficulty level, immersive gameplay, and sheer size of the map make this a very worthwhile purchase and will carry Switch sales for some time to come.

Amazing. That's all I can say. Really really good game and a system seller for sure. The few criticisms I have do not even come close to outweighing the good in the game but when you have the switch plugged in, there are a fair amount of times that the frame rate drops, a lot. Also, the dungeons are cool but they are super short and there is really only 4 of them. I don't count the shrines as dungeons. I miss the old long dungeons.
Also, the final boss is way too easy.

I've been waiting for this game for a long time and certainly does not disappoint. There's a reason this is the highest rated game of all time.
The world is humongous and will take weeks/months to explore. There is no shortage of things to do. This game drastically changes the formula for zelda games with brand new set of controls.
While I do love this game, I do not recommend a beginner game starting with this as they may find it very difficult. However, if you have at least some gaming experience, I would definitely recommend getting this game, especially if you love exploration.

Would definitely recommend this to fans and newcomers alike. One of the best games in the series with hours upon hours of content and a massive world to explore.

This is essentially the same as the WiiU version, but the load times are faster and the graphics are noticeably crisper. A wonderful open-world adventure!

Full open world Zelda. What more can you expect than absolute perfection. Get a horse. Keep a horse. Arrows are clutch. Weapons should last longer. Memories yo.
