My kids are both 10 and 7, and they each own a copy for the Switch (one of them is mine). They have over 300 hours of game time logged in... over the holidays... there is so much content available, you'll never get bored. With the add-on DLC, it is well worth the additional $20. This game has an amazing music soundtrack... a favorite being music score for The Kara Kara Bazaar. Highly recommend the purchase of the The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild--Creating a Champion art book also.

Zelda Breath of the Wild is a fantastic open world style game which has an excellent story line and a good bit of collectibles and challenges to keep you busy. There are 4 divine beast that are really clever dungeons layouts + 120 shrine challenges and 900 Korok seeds as well as side quests and the main story. I have really enjoyed the landscape and find myself exploring for the sake of exploring. I haven't completed the game as of yet but have thuroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it.

Great story, great graphics, great gameplay, definitely has a lot of replay value, this game is just so much fun to play! Best Zelda game I've ever played

After playing Mario Odyssey, I was skeptical of this game winning GOTY over it. Odyssey was a masterpiece itself and I could not imagine another game beating it this year. I picked the game up recently and my god, I could not put it down. The game starts off slow, but after about an hour or so in, it ramps up, and becomes incredibly fun and addicting. I've already put in about 60 hours, and I don't plan on stopping soon. This game proves Nintendo knows what they're doing when they wanted to take TLOZ in a different direction. This may perhaps be the greatest game in the Zelda franchise to date.

This game has a seemingly unending story with nearly infinite sidequests. The open terrain looks amazing and the gameplay is just challenging enough.

This game is just so dang good! So much to do and explore. Free roaming to do as you please. My favorite zelda game ever.

Absolutely love everything about this game, the story, graphics, music and content are amazing. Overwhelming amount of side quests in addition to the main quest.

Best open world game ever. It even makes Skyrim and Witcher 3 and even GTA V not that extraordinary. Just can't stop playing!

With a vast open world and plenty of challenging tasks, this Zelda game lives up to the legacy. One of the best games ever made for the Nintendo Switch.

This is a fantastic game that will give you many hours of entertainment. My gripes are that the constant breaking of weapons and shields was an idiotic idea that adds nothing but frustration to the game and i prefer the old style of zelda games where you go through dungeons, get a new item and defeat the boss as opposed to this games style of mostly wandering around and occasionally finding small puzzle rooms.

AMAZING! Everything you could want from a Zelda game. Open world exploring, surprisingly brutal enemies, great lore and story with no hand holding. Just buy it, seriously.

OMG!...I bought this game for my son for Christmas & it was convenient to order it online & use curbside pick-up for quick service, but what matters most is that my son LOVES this game. He received several games for Christmas but this is his absolute favorite.

This sort of game play is inline with the earlier titles I have loved. Big open worlds and lots of content.

This game is absolutely fantastic. Just enough new mechanics and a entertaining plot line combined with open world exploration and some great challenges.

As a fan of the Legend of Zelda series, I found this game to be a masterpiece amongst other console Zelda games like A Link to the Past & Twilight Princess. I love the massive open-world & survival mechanics in this game along with the amount of realism put into its physics engine along with the great amount of imagination and fantasy brought into this incarnation of the Kingdom of Hyrule. If you like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (or The Witcher) & Zelda games, then this is perfect for you! It'll keep you busy for a LONG time and even if you've explored everything, there's another surprise waiting!

Open world, great weapon variety, cool story and great supporting characters...if you've bought a Nintendo Switch there is no reason not to purchase this game. So great!!

Wonderful graphics..gripping story..couldnt be happier

Finally a new Zelda adventure. And in HD. I have loved Zelda games since their beginning. A lot of memories. I'm rebuilding my retro console collection in hopes to introduce my 2 year old son to them in a few years. Skyward Sword in HD was a nice holdover until this game came. The only thing I really wish was in this game was voice overs but I get in this current technology age, the reading would actually benefit the current generation; however, they do tease a little bit with voice dialog.
