Like the title says it's a new twist to a classic tale! Be prepared for a new style of gameplay! It's not as easy and as linear as it's predecessors! It sure is beautiful though!

Purchased as a Christmas gift for grandson. He needed one for the Switch. Sometimes he gets frustrated because he dies but that’s just the way he is lol

This game has so much potential. It’s fun and has a huge world. I just wish one thing.. I wish games would stop putting false gods into the game play. It seems like everything coming from over seas is slowly trying to push their religious gods on everyone. Pray to this tree, bow down at this shrine, the wind, earth, sun, water gods, etcetera. Why can’t they just do a man against evil? As a Christian, I don’t want to play games that challenge my faith in order to play. Most people won’t agree but I wish this could change.

Fun game once you get over the fact the legendary hero is the smallest Hyrulian adult and the continued use of text-based NPC interactions that slow the game pace.

Very big game. A lot of things to do which can be a bit overwhelming but it's very fun to just walk around and discover things.

I didn't play Zelda games growing up, but I was compelled to give this (and the Switch) a shot based on what I heard, and holy moly this game is amazing. Only scratching the surface of it, but the look and scope of the world, the freedom of progression, and even the music has me hooked in.

This was the fastest I’ve ever completed an Zelda game I couldn’t put it down thanks to the ability to playing it on the go. Game is amazing looking forward to purchasing the dlc

Best game I’ve played on Switch. Logged way too many hours on it because it’s just so massive. Colors look way too cartoony on tv, so I prefer to play on the console. Looking forward to the sequel!!

Never played a Zelda game before, but I picked this up as there was nothing else available yet for the switch. It was pretty fun, just not necessarily my kind of game.

Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She loves playing it on trips and at home. One of her favorite games.

If I could give this game 10 stars, I would. I’ma long time Zelda fan and they smashed it with this game. I’m looking forward to the new one but struggle to see how they’ll improve in this. Most engaging, immersive Zelda yet.

Again with my husband he loves games and he had just gotten a switch for Christmas, he loved this game and really enjoyed the story of it.

The game to start off is MASSIVE! There is so much to do and the design of the game is great and if you never played a Zelda game, I would highly recommend picking up the game! It is amazing and would not surprise me if 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' gets GAME OF THE YEAR!!!!

Ocarina of time is in my top 3 games of all time personally. This game... might be better. So far its failed to impress in the first 10 hours of play. Really there is nothing more to say. If you are buying a switch you are also buying this game. So why are you reading this review at all?

One of the best games of all time and for sure the best installment in the Zelda series at least that I have played. I would highly suggest purchasing the expansion pack if you're going to get this game.

The potential to offer innovative gameplay mechanics, nostalgic callbacks to the Zelda universe and brings back memories. It is an extremely long game with side quests left and right. I am currently at the end and have not completed nearly half of the side quests. Overall if you enjoy the zelda universe this is a must.

Great game! My grandsons loved it! If you have younger kids this is a game for you.

I would say that this has been one of the most fun Zelda games but also it can get quite challenging!! However overall the story is amazing and I am addicted! 10/10 would try again

I have had a lot of fun exploring the almost endless landscape, and battling the creatures that pop up. This game is definetely a must have for any legend of zelda fan, or new fan.
