I am not a life-long Zelda gamer and have little nostalgia for the series, but I can say that all the hype surrounding Breath of the Wild is completely warranted. Zelda BotW is hands down the best game I've ever played. Yeah, it has some framerate issues and whatnot, but I've never experience the openness and freedom of exploration that the development team implemented in this game. I'm over 50 hours in, and I'm still interested in exploring the world more before I go finish the final battle.

This may be the best Zelda game ever created - i was a huge fan of Ocarina of Time; this one surpasses it in pretty much every way - the world is enormous and there is plenty of exploration to be done and tasks to be completed - it feels like a legitimate living, breathing world. Only issue is that I have experienced some minor frame rate issues, but nothing game-breaking and it should be fixed in a future update. All in all, an amazing game, well deserving of the accolades it's received.

Beautiful graphics, great story and a huge nostalgia factor make this a great game.

I have played every Zelda since its inception, and this is right on top with my favs! It's just so much fun while weaving a differing take on the Legend itself without making any just lore breaking changes. If only it could have been played in beautiful 4K HDR!

This is a great game, the new controls were strange at first but once you get the hang of them it is an amazing experience.

Combat was fluent. Adventure was vast. DLC was impeccable. Challenging but entertaining.

The great thing about this iteration of Zelda is it brings the gameplay into modern times. Instead of hunting down for specific objects to solve the next stage of the overall game play puzzle like in prior Zelda's - this one gives you everything you need to survive in the first gameplay area (few hours or so) and then sets you free to venture wherever you want in the world. It's a great experience that doesn't make the mistake some 1st games in an open-world settings do. Strongly recommend!

This is such an awesome game. I love the platform. Also that it plays on the switch is great.

This one is certainly a flagship game for the Switch, but this will straight up be a milestone classic among Nintendo's offerings, regardless of console. The hype is real....get it! I am not a hardcore gamer, and will not play most games the Switch offers; I am more of the speed of CoD, The Division....The Last Of Us....real story based, rich games with more of an adult(?) setting, but this game is the entire reason I bought the Switch and I would do it a dozen times over again.

I love that Best Buy has sales on Nintendo games because it helps me purchase games that I've been wanting for awhile. BOTW was a great game and I would definitely purchase again in haste! The shipping was no issue and it arrived faster than expected.

This is, easily, my game of the year for 2017. A fantastic open world exploration game, Zelda: Breath of the Wild captures the wonder and fantasy from Zeldas of old. Though there are some annoyances from the systems and the dungeons are not as interesting as previously, this game makes up for it in how expansive and interesting it is. Just exploring the world has eaten up hour after hour of my life. Also, it's on the Switch, so you can play it on the go! Great game.

first I have a Wii U and I debated getting this for my Wii U or getting a Switch. After reading many reviews and talking with some friends who had a switch; I purchased the game with a Switch. I am glad to say totally pleased with my purchase, this is a great game with the true zelda perks everyone who has ever played any zelda game would love. I also bought the expansion content and have been having the best time exploring all of the nooks and crannies. Gameplay is very fluid, camera angles are perfect. Just watch out that you don't kill your own horse. They're dead forever if you kill your loyal steed. Keep them safe! There are so many sidequests and things to collect, I plan on playing this game to 100% completion and that is going to take a long time! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
