This is still the best game on the Switch! After playing Wind Waker this past year I wanted to play the latest LoZ game. This game is breathtaking! The visuals are amazing! Gameplay is fun! All ages can enjoy this game! This game is a must play on the Switch! I can't wait for BoTW 2!

Much different from the previous Zelda games. Instead of the scripted, formulatic gameplay of the previous games, this one is an open world. You can rush immediately to fight Ganon (and die), or you can ignore the plot entirely and tame horses, find hidden secrets, and complete side quests.

Hands down this is the best game I’ve ever played. I have completed it but I’m still playing. It’s THAT good and THAT expansive. I am eagerly awaiting the sequel to this but it’ll be hard to live up to this. So much fun.

This is a must buy for any Switch owner. The game is challenging but respectful of the player's time. Made to highlight the strengths of the new system and the mobile and docked game play is flawless. Plays great with the joycons but dock it and play with a pro controller for a fantastic experience. Extremely long game with a lot to do. Worth the price of admission.

I loved Ocarina of time. This feels like a nicely done second chapter. The artwork feels like the animated Hobbit movie that was very close to live action, not the cartoonish version. The dangers are familiar, but updated and the difficulty level is appropriately increased. It's a good follow up and update to a childhood favorite. My kid loves it too.

The resolution and vastness of the map/overworld alone on this game is enough to impress anyone, coupled with the puzzles, quests, side quests, and overall gameplay. If you werent in love with the Legend of zelda already, this game will definitely make you fall in love. Definitely a game that will give you months of new play everyday

Legend of Zelda was my first purchase of the Switch. I knew I needed something to hold off for other great titles, and this was the perfect game for it. I love the new direction they're taking it, and I never realized how adding elements such as durability for items would change the game in such a dynamic way. I always end up needing more bag space :(.

I’ve played many games in the Legend of Zelda series and this one is up there. It lacks linearity where the series typically locks you out of areas. Now it’s up to your courage and ingenuity to make it through an area when you’re ready for it. There’s really too much positive to write in a review. Give this game a shot if you like gaming even a little bit.

Worth the price of a Switch especially if you are a Zelda fan. If you own a switch this is a must have game and just about every aspect of this game is near perfection. I still like Horizon Zero Dawn better but wow is it really necessary to pick just one best game? I'll take both.

Beautiful open world game. Loads of things to do. Never a dull moment.

From the feeling of the very first Legend of Zelda on NES of just explorer to grow in strength, this game brings it to the modern era. You start out able to run right up to the boss. (which will quickly wipe you out) You have to learn how to traverse the environment and use it to your advantage. This is best Zelda game yet and one of the greatest games of all time.

This game is fantastic! All the reviews are very valid about this game. My only regret is buying from best buy. The game was advertised on sale but did not mention a sale period. I asked online chat support when the sale ended, and they said I had a week (until the following Saturday). The next day the game was back to full price and the sale had ended. I had this along with 3 other games in my cart which all were back to full price. Customer support could do nothing for me about honoring their own misstatement about the sale period. I got lucky that other competitors happen to have the previous sale price at the time I contacted BB about this problem so they price matched me. The other games were not on sale anywhere so they could not price match me or honor their own statement. I should have just purchased from the competitor and not given BB my business. I will not going forward because that is horrible practice to not honor your own statements.

So I'm not really the play everyday type of gamer, I have a PS4 and now a Switch. The last time I felt so excited to play a game was probably Mario 64.. yeah I'm old. All I can really say is this game allows you to do most things you can think of doing... and I think that's awesome. I'm still a little weak at battling but I think the game is perfectly challenging.

I love this game from the moment I bought it, and anyone who played this series of the legend of Zelda games definitely will. This breath of the wild game is graphically stunning for a Nintendo switch console or handheld game. Buy this game if your interested in adventure and exploring!!!!

I've enjoyed every Zelda game I've played, Breath of the Wild was no different! The sounds and characters are pure Zelda. The controls are pretty tight. My one qualm with the game is the weapon durability mechanic. I'd like to have seen the weapons last a little longer. Not a deal breaker for me though.... if you own a Switch, then Zelda BotW is a must own.
