New console leads to new Link
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mean come on. It’s a game altering version of Hyrule and Link that has changed how some people view Legend of Zelda. Is it my favorite? Far from. But it’s still so fun and addicting that you’ll want to keep coming back.

So much yes!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't begin to say enough with this game. Nintendo always knows how to bring their flagship games to the table the right way. With the switch, this game just makes you feel more free in both worlds. You can become captivated in the game world while on the go which in ways can make people jealous of you for playing one of the greatest games ever while you're out and about (not concerned lol). Graphics aren't as rich and detailed as let's say...Final Fantasy, but it's Nintendo, and for their graphics I give them an A+! A new Zelda with the same classic feel and an open world makes this easy to just pick up and play. Tutorials allow for new players to easily get a grasp of the controls, and the story can be picked up on quickly as well. Great job on a launch title!!

One of the finest releases ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Going back to the days of NES and the original game (that I spent many weeks playing) I have to say that Ocarina of Time was my next favorite, until now....maybe. Classic Zelda but new enough to be exciting and interesting. The open world is awesome and I love not being locked into a linear order for quests. My son and I have--in fact--spent time just wandering around the lands searching for chests and items and doings side quests, and it's amazingly fun. If I had one gripe it would be that the story leaves you disconnected a bit, especially at the beginning, though that's kind of the point I guess. A games for the ages, with great control and fun for any age. I'd suggest the pro controller if you have bigger hands...it's much better than using the joycons.

An incredible open world game for the Switch.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've heard a lot about this game since it's launch back in March, and my mind was blown first playing it in July. This game goes beyond all of it's previous games in a massive way and giving you the option of exploring each region in an apocalyptic world of Hyrule which is a very satisfying experience. I've been playing it non-stop and immersing myself in it's salvageable landscapes Nintendo kindly worked hard to give to us gamers. Reminds me of a cross between a Link Between Worlds and Ocarina of Time. Without a doubt a game of the year in a grand epic scale, it's creator successfully delivered.

I'm a gamer who only focuses on story
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Naturally, when I play a game I will only do the main stuffs, I won't do other stuffs, and horizon zero dawn is the first RPG like game that got me hooked, and this will be the second, the story of this game is kind of great, but the exploration none of the game has ever got me hooked, I kept doing shrine and exploring, unlocking towers so much, that I have done like only one divine beast yet, and this is my first Zelda game, I had SNES when I was young, never got the chance to play Zelda other than soccer and donkey kong, now I know that I've been missing out, hope they make all the Zelda again on switch.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game looks great and has many of hours of play. Story line is detailed. Map is huge and there are lots of areas to explore. Some areas are a bit hard as the controls are not the greatest for some of the challenges.

Amazing, Outstanding, Best of it's Kind
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ex cells at everything it does, with an amazing open world full of life and activity. The story is nicely put together so long as you make it a priority. Rain and Lightning are the only things to fear in this new Hyrule.

Amazing game 10/10
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchase the game after completing MARIO Odyssey, this game is amazing. I have always love Zelda games only reason why I always end up picking up a Nintendo console. This game doesn’t disappoints, beautiful visual, puzzle can get a bit challenging until then you realize the answer was in front of you the whole time lol. Love the game so far exploring every bit of the map before in the area before moving forward and unlocking a different section of a map. So many items, and things to look for which make the game that much more fun. Lots of play time, been playing the game about 2 hours a day travel time between work and also another 45 minutes when I get home. If you own a switch this is a must have title. 10/10

Open-World Perfected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an incredible game that will be talked about and reflected upon for generations to come. It's that good. The world is vast, the art style is beautiful, and the story is intriguing. If you want a game that will continually be surprising you with new areas and new activities even after 100+ hours of gameplay, this game is for you. This game truly perfects instilling a sense of adventure, exploration, and wonder into the open-world genre. Never has there existed an open-world game that gives as much freedom as this one. This game is reason enough to buy a Switch. If you own a Switch already but not this game, do yourself a favor and buy it. It is truly one of the best games of all time.

I should have picked this up sooner!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited a long time to get this game, I don’t know why. It is a massive open world and there is so much to do. You really will get your money’s worth here. This game is big enough to keep you busy for a while. It is excellent and a lot of fun so far. I was a teenager when I played Legend of Zelda on the NES and have played Zelda games throughout the years. It brings nostalgia back with new gameplay mechanics and story to expand the lore. I am happy with the purchase and have a whole lotta game to play for many hours to come.

One of the best open-world games!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is visually beautiful - one could spend days just exploring the scenery and listening to the calming music. Gameplay is simple to learn, and has a good challenge with the different enemy type. Someof the few game mechanics I dislike is the durability system of weapons and shields and the fact that mounts don't fast travel with you. It has tons of content for you completionists and collectors!

A gaming masterpiece!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a respective masterpiece. People may waver to use a word that strong, and opinions may sway back and forth, but to any fan of Zelda, nay, any fan of Nintendo is sure to enjoy this game. It brings a new adventure that all other Zelda games have never fully brought: A fully open-world game, optional story aspects, and impressive combat mechanics that keep the game interesting. From cooking food, to taming horses, to scaling mountains in nothing but your shorts, this game is worthy of the title “Best game on Switch”. To anyone who enjoys gaming, purchase this game. It’s worth the money.

Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Breath of the Wild is one of the best open world games I've played. While the story isn't anything spectacular, and the framerate occasionally dips heavily, they are minor nitpicks that don't take much if anything at all from the game. The world is incredibly large and the fact that you can stray off from the story and do your own thing with almost no restriction is something that sets it apart from most other open world games. There's an insane amount of content and in the process hundreds of hours can be put into this game. the fact that it's only $60 feels like a steal. In all, Breath of the Wild is one of the best games released in 2017 and the ability to take it on the go on the Nintendo Switch is icing on a fabulous cake.

Incredibly Immersive!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All the excitement around TotK convinced me it was time to invest in a Switch and try out the game that redefined the franchise, and I was not disappointed. Such a beautiful game and the open-endedness of it left me satisfied to leave the missions behind and just wander around. Can;t wait to try the sequel!

Portable Zelda
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being able to play Zelda on-the-go with the Switch is great! The game itself hasn't pulled me in as I hoped it would. The open-world and exploration is fantastic. I find myself getting distracted too often to find out what is just a short distance away. Zelda on the Switch itself looks incredible. I don't care much for the weapon durability as it is irritating nor the inventory management. I would prefer button mapping options as I am used to using other default control layouts on other consoles.

A Masterpiece
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To echo the world of game journalists, this game is a masterpiece. It is a fulfillment of thirty years of the Legend of Zelda franchise, and represents one of Nintendo's most perfectly executed games. On top of that, it represents one of the open-world genre's most successful efforts to date, as glitches are virtually nonexistent and the player is constantly engaged with intriguing, compelling sidequests and exploration. The difficulty is reasonably challenging, especially compared to more recent entries in the Zelda franchise, but falls short of the medium's recent emphasis on extremely high difficulty (Dark Souls, Nuclear Throne, etc.). In short, I would imagine almost any player enjoying himself or herself while playing Breath of the Wild.
