    Where Has My Life Gone?

I didn't want to review this till I'd had some time to play it, and I knew the game, and now that I'm 45+ hours into the game (according to the Switch)...I still don't feel like I can definitively say I *know* this game. There's just so much to do and see and explore and fight and oh my god it's dangerous. 'Just one more shrine' turns into three shrines, a tower, and a tussle with some Guardians. There are plenty of side quests, and puzzles, and while yes, it's light on 'temples' or 'dungeons' compared to its predecessors, trust me, if it's boss fights you're looking for, the mini-bosses will find you in the overworld. If it's puzzles you want, the shrines have you covered. It's *different* from past Zelda games, but that's not a *bad* thing. I love this game, and I forsee many many many *many* more hours of gameplay in my future, especially with the first of the 2 DLC packs out now. If you're a Zelda fan, I recommend it. If you're *not* a Zelda fan, this may convert you to the team! (No joke...I had a friend over a few weekends back, and introduced her to the game as someone who'd never seen a Zelda game before...she apparently played all said nearly 9 hours from the time I turned it on, to the time I woke up the next morning!)

I'm pretty sure it will get argued, but this is now easily my favorite zelda game of all time. Really fun. The only tiny tiny complaint, is that I could argue that the main quest line the whole time.....not terribly high on the difficulty. I was really hoping they'll add something later like a "master quest" or a hard mode. Then it would literally be perfect

There was a lot of hype around this game being better then ocarina of time but after putting 20 hours on it I don’t see that being the case. Botw is a great game in an of it self the open world concept is amazing and there’s always more to do to get better and progress the story line, but still not better then OoT in my opinion.

BOTW has so much content and "replay" value. I put replay in quotes because even if you finish the main storyline, there is so much you can do and you can play it however you want. Plus, the graphics are beautiful, and I never get tired of exploring the map. Definitely worth every penny!

I play games in kind of unorthodox ways in that I am often never very focused on the goal of the game so much as I am in exploring all inches of the game to find its hidden treasures and secrets. I have a limited scope of interest in video games (The Sims and Pokemon are the only other games I really play), but BOTW can keep me (and has kept me) entertained for hours. I am obsessed with cooking stuff and collecting items so I have a boatload of every ingredient you can find in the game, which ends up coming in hand when it comes to upgrades. I also really like small/short/easy side quests and this game has a ton of them. I also highly recommend getting the DLC--there's this hero's mode on the map that shows you where you've gone over the course of the past 200 hours so you don't end up going to the same spot all the time. My partner also has and plays this game and he also loves it. The main quests aren't impossible but they're definitely time consuming. He works more on the main Ganon-related quests and thus he is often more geared up than me, but because I'm not as interested in the main quests it doesn't really matter for my gameplay.

    The Best Zelda Game Yet

It's incredible what levels of polish Nintendo has achieved with this game, especially considering the open-world format. This is a robust and exciting world that is always throwing new challenges at you. Beyond that, it feels like a return-to-form with the Zelda franchise, allowing you to truly feel like a wandering adventurer saving a besieged kingdom.

This was really easy to purchase and i got a fantastic deal on black friday for it! Its a wonderful, expansive game. My 8 year old has a bit of difficulty with this. It seems to be geared toward 10+, or more practiced players if theyre younger.

    Possibly Best Zelda Game Ever

Breath of the Wild is arguably the best Zelda game ever made. This Zelda game has the biggest open world I've seen yet for this series. Cooking is probably the newest feature that's different from the previous games, and it's actually entertaining. Other that that, it may be the same premise, but there is much more depth this time around.

This was honestly my first Zelda game that I really played all the way (mostly all the way through but I'll be beating the game in the next day or two) and I have to say it's one of the best Nintendo games I've played in awhile. From the graphics to the story line to game engine and everything in between this game has you playing it non-stop and I love it!

This game is amazing. Plenty to do and it looks fantastic on the switch. The open world really works. You can do side quest, main quest or just explore. I waited a year since i got my switch to play this game and i regret it so much. get this as your first game you wont regret it. Enjoy one of the best games ever made period!

Game offers a HUGE world to explore, with the freedom to complete quests on your own terms/timing. The graphics are great, the story-line is good, the puzzles are challenging. It is both a strategy game and a skill game... I would certainly buy it again. I am very pleased with it.

I am so in love with this game. A completely open world experience, there is SO MUCH to explore and experiment with. It includes some of the classic Zelda content for nostalgia mixed with many new elements. I would recommend this game to pretty much anyone that loves RPG's

The Game to Buy for the Switch

First off, I was never a Zelda fan. I've tried some of previous installments such as Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, and the handheld installments. None of them really made me want to continue playing. Breath of the Wild on the other hand has impressed me on multitudes of levels. The Design of the map is pretty flawless with encounters of shrines, enemy's, and NPC's that all felt necessary in this huge open world. The abilities and equipment you gain throughout your journey gives you many options to tackle many obstacles differently (using a boulder to obliterate the enemy or chop a tree down to do your dirty work). The music is sprinkled throughout the game's open world adventures and changes depending on circumstances (fighting a bokoblin or traveling on a snowy mountain). I can go on and on about this game now that I've dived pretty deep into the game, but I don't wanna spoil much and rather let you enjoy the game to the fullest with tons of moments of awe. All I can say is this is the game you'll want to get a switch for atm. It offers enough to cater to newbies, those who've tried past installments but never liked it much, and veterans (they probably already have the game so this review is more for the other two categories).

Link to the Past on the SNES is one of my favorite Zelda games of all time. I've also enjoyed playing Link's Awakening on the GB and Minish Cap on GBA. I tried to get into Twilight Princess but it wasn't doing justice. Yes, I've skipped out on all the Zelda games like on the N64 and Gamecube. They were great games, just never really got back into Zelda until now. OPEN WORLD! I mean I know that's half of what games are nowadays, but in Zelda? Wow. I mean everything about the game is different. The fighting mechanics are intuitive now, need to think about your strategy before going in because the AI are pretty smart in this game. You can customize Link now(not sure if you were able in previous Zelda games, grab random weapons in the game, but I think the biggest feat of all is to go about how you want to play the game. It really doesn't lead you by the hand. Your experience will differ than someone else's even though you are playing the same game. I could go on about this....in the end you're just going to have to play the game yourself in order to understand. If you have amiibos, certain ones give you awesome items in the game! Previous items you can get are from previous certain Zelda games, but I won't spoil what it is ;)

I have played every Zelda since the original on the NES and I can say confidently that this is the best in the franchise. I have been playing for well over 150 hours and I still find new things! The art is beautiful, the story is powerful, and the gameplay is king. This is easily my favorite game of 2017 and probably in my top 5 games ever!

The product game Breath of the Wild game is okay it's not like the old school Zelda games which are linear I'm not big into the cartoon art and the weapon system. But the storyline is good. I like the customer service at Best Buy.
