Not a traditional Zelda game. But it is one that gives you a lot of freedom to complete quests in your own way.

Great game! I think it is so much better than Link's Awakening.

This game is a wonderful blend of the old 2D, top-down Zeldas, and the new Breath of the Wild Zeldas. Exploration is encouraged, but contained. I've really enjoyed the non-linear problem solving and enjoyable character interactions. Creating "Echoes" will certainly become a new aspect of the Zelda franchise, and I can't wait to see another game in this vein.

I placed a pre order for this gane, and at that time, no pre order bonuses were available. Several weeks later, Besr Buy offered a pre order bonus. I received a very nice email from BEST BUY; advising ne that a preorder bonus was available and that they would be adding it to my order., i didn't have to do anything. I love playing as link it's always so much fun and exciting. It's simple games like this that make relaxing and enjoying something fun again. (and yes I know who is who in the game lol)

Echoes of Wisdom follows a lot of the same stylings of past Zelda games, but the new echoes mechanic gives it an interesting twist. With that said, I ended up using a small number of the echoes since many of the options offered similar functions. Also, choosing echoes could be a chore with the very simple menu. Parts of the game felt repetitive, such as going into the Still World. And the graphical performance of the game was not great in multiple locations. Despite this, it's still enjoyable and interesting to see more changes to the Zelda formula.
