This game was awesome. So different from other legend of zelda titles, it was new and refreshing. Made me think more when solving puzzles or fighting enemys

Picked it up for Christmas for myself, “I know,” bad, didn’t want to miss out on the price on this game during the sales. I did receive other games, but this one I wanted to try before links awakening since I played the OG game boy version and it was my first Zelda game ever. Now I know what to expect and I can’t wait to play that next.

A great unexpected Zelda game to round out the switch's library. This game beautifully blends the traditional 2D Zelda experience with the modern 3D Zelda's like Tears of the Kingdom. The Echo ability is very reminiscent of Ultra hand and fusing in Tears of the Kingdom. It adds the level of openness that it seems Nintendo is striving for across all Zelda games now. Having characters like Deku Scrubs make an appearance after so many years is also awesome to see.

Love the mechanics of the game! Being able to copy items and monsters to battle your enemies makes this game a wonderful addition to the LOZ franchise.

Got this as a gift for my partner and they were not disappointed. I was also not expecting the game to be as fun as it was. She loved the change in play-style with the new mechanic, being able to approach combat and puzzles in a different way with some strategy made for a great experience. Would highly recommend to anyone that loves Zelda games.

My daughter loves it. She can’t stop playing it. If you’re a Zelda fan, this is a mess have.

Fun and inventive, and combat is far more engaging that I thought it would be. Puzzles are interesting, although due to their freeform nature, they can easily be cheesed from time to time, would like to see tighter puzzle construction and more in-depth dungeons in the future, along the lines of the dungeon that had you following the energy channels to heat the entrance to the boss. As it is, many of the dungeons felt like several disconnected, individual puzzle rooms, instead of a larger giant puzzle box like classic dungeons as the Ancient Cistern or Snowpeak Ruins. Still though, overall a wonderful, charming, and inventive game, and I would love to see this style of Zelda gameplay expanded in the future.

Fun game. Easy to play. Short but nice game to kill time. Not overly complicated and interesting story.

I've been a Zelda fan since the NES 8-bit games. I'm happy to see the dungeons make a comeback. The game, as a whole, is cute and fun. There are a few more challenging moments, but for the most part it's fairly easy. I wish it was a bit longer, but I like to venture around so more side challenges are fun for me. Still, I absolutely loved the game and will replay it multiple times. I highly recommend this game!

the game follows the story line, but the old school limited view is annoying after playing Tears of the kingdom. the top-down view took some getting used to. The swordfighter ability is timed, and energy the bar quickly depletes while in this mode, so if you're a hack and slash player, this will challenge you to think of other ways to defeat the monster. over all the game is good.
