Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the unique gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, with many finding the art style cute and the puzzle-solving clever and satisfying. Many agree that the story feels like Zelda, and the overall performance makes it a must-play. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the preorder bonus being shipped separately and occasional frame rate issues.

I’m not a serious gamer. The Zelda franchise has just the right balance of action, story, cutesy and frustration to keep me coming back for more.

I have praised its open-world design, which encourages exploration and creativity, as well as its deep lore that builds on the established Zelda mythos. The game introduces new abilities and features that enhance the gameplay experience, allowing for unique interactions with the environment.

I give the design / development team on this game props for trying something new. But the end result is a rather boring and tedious combat system that has very little of the Zelda charm. This is the first Zelda game I've ever played in my life (and I've been playing since the first original on the NES) that I've had to force myself to keep playing just to get more of the story. The entire time playing I'm bored and just not feeling it. The puzzles are simplistic and immediately obvious. In fact pretty much everything is. Meet some random NPC in the world? Yep you pretty much already know what is going to happen with them before you even speak with them. I'm just extremely disappointed in this. It's pretty obvious that the mechanics where not conceived as a combat mechanic. The game was original conceptualized and designed as a world / dungeon builder game, and some new head came in after a year or so development and upended all of it to push it in the direction it ended up.

I was really excited fir this game. It was much easier to finish than i expected. Not happy you can't go back and explore more once you defeat the final boss. Will only open back to your last save.

After a 3D sandbox game its cool being able to play another sandbox Zelda game in the 2D style with a massive open world map.

This was a fun entry in the 2d/Top-Down Zelda series, though I did find the game lacking a little bit of Nintendo's finesse in this area (the game was developed by a 3rd-Party with Nintendo's input). The challenge of the game was also not too high - very accessible to casual or younger gamers. Lastly, I thought the length of the game was a little short. But maybe that's personal preference.

I bought this as a gift and my wife is really enjoying it. She has been playing it steadily since we got it. The fact that you are playing as Zelda has given them the opportunity to add more variety to the game play. However, it still has the core elements that she loves.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She's a fan of the Zelda series and sometimes misses the more simple formula of the old games. She loves it and says it's a good blend of the exploration and creativity of the new games with the traditional Zelda formula.

Play way differently unlike any zelda games. More like dragon quests builders. Game gives more freedom how to play. You summon minions to aid you and objects to reach goal.everything is in tips of your palm.

The game is a fun take on how Zelda would be, if Zelda was a mage/magic user. The music in the game is excellent, the best I’ve heard since Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The ease of traversing the world map is what makes this game awesome. I do miss Link though.

I love this game. After BOTW and TOTK, I was tired of that giant, open world zelda stuff. This is a much needed break from those 200+ hour adventures. Pretty short too. Beat it in like 15 hours.
