Arrived a day after release but no big deal, I was expecting it to anyway. This is a great game, the art style is adorable (especially when the NPCs are surprised) the mechanics are novel, yet it is in many ways quite traditional. Breaking conventions in all the right ways. There was one aspect of the game I felt was, while interesting, quite unnecessary and I never ended up using it.

Best buy has never been good with preprder bonus’ normally they are reserved for the first people that have ordered or should be reserved for best buy plus (total tech) members. Every review with 1 star complaining a out the bonus should be deleted as it doesnt reflect on the actual product but reflects best buys business. Complaining you didnt get something that wasnt guaranteed is kinda sad to see. Its disapoonting, but for the last 10 years every smart person that plays video games will tell you not tp preorder, and that preordering allows companies to do shady practices, or to simply not deliver fully on their final product because they already made their money. Its crazy people are still preorder and expecting free things or a finished game on release day, when none of that stuff has been fully delivered in over 10 years.

i didnt preorder... so i have nothing to complain. but this game is 11 stars out of 10, if you love the original NES, the Legend of Zelda. this is like a based on the original Zelda layout, the game is not very difficult to play, so you wont give up and quit too easily, just lots of puzzles to solve which i love.

I hadn't played a "traditional" Zelda game (2D) in a very long time until I played this one. I suppose I got more used to playing the newer, 3D BOTW, and TOTK. I think EOW is a good "old-school" style game with the more traditional type dungeons. The reason for the 4 star is because it just seems too easy. I have barely been stumped (puzzles) once and I have cleared 4 dungeons. I have only died in one boss battle (although I have a few times traversing the world). I guess I feel the game is too juvenile with respect to the level of difficulty. Keep in mind I am only half way through (?) the game, so it could become more difficult (I hope). Other than that, the idea of playing Zelda is cool, and the echoes are a good idea. I do miss the combat style of BOTW and TOTK though.

Glad I finally picked up a copy. This is really the first ever Zelda game where we finally get to play the princess of Hyrule. It is quite bittersweet but it’s definitely quite an exciting adventure.

For the first time, outside of the 4 different spinoffs of this series, Zelda takes the stage, and unlike most normal Zelda games this one is more logic based which makes sense….. a fun adventure for new and old Zelda fans…. It has the open world concept given to us by: a link between worlds/breath of the wild/tears of the kingdom…….. and the gameplay is interesting

A very cute and charming game. A bit on the easy side with simple puzzles and fairly simplistic combat. However, I really like the graphics, especially for the new areas. I also liked the new enemies, bosses, and environments.

Great game. Great twist on a fantastic franchise. I really enjoyed playing this game. Great mechanics and the puzzles are a lot of fun.

How about writing a real review for the actual game instead of complaining that you didn't get your bonus item? I'd like to know people's thoughts on the game.

Game is gem. Beyond fun for Nintendo fans. They even brought Mario 2D aspects into it with so many Zelda past game innovations...A+++

The game is AMAZING! People need to stop leaving bad reviews for best buy on the game as its own product. This game compared to the previous one is much more in depth, you can tell Nintendo worked on it. If you are a Zelda fan you will definitely want to buy this one. I don't want to write more on the game because i don't want to ruin the surprise. Buy it, you wont regret it!

Awesome and fun game. Cool art style that is very similar to Link's Awakening remake. Powers are a tad similar to TOTK. The only downside is that this doesn't truly feel like Zelda's story.

Glad I took the time to read the reviews and didn't just pass over this. All these people leaving 1 star reviews to review the store on the product page how dumb can you be. If you're reviewing the store review the actual store on Google reviews or something not on the product review best buy fumbling the preorder is not a review of the game!

We finally get to play as Zelda and she's so cute! Loving it so far.

Exactly what I ordered and it shipped on the release date of Thursday, September 26th. However Best Buy chose to ship via substandard FedEx and the package was delivered Monday, September 30th, instead of the projected delivery day of Friday, September 27th. I had to watch the world play and beat the entire game that weekend. Best Buy, you did great up until you shipped it FedEx.

Music is awesome, graphics are ten years old, story is good. Gameplay? The worst on all legend of Zelda games in history. The game forces you to a very specific game style. It also forces you to play stealth missions. Whether you like it or not. In addition to that, some dungeons require you yo perfectly time and position certain casts and jumps, but the 2.5d game graphics just makes it incredibly frustrating to achieve. The leveling within the game is terrible. Most of the perks and casts you get are unusable on most scenarios, so there is no excitement on getting anything new. Puzzles have hundreds of possible solutions… and one finds oneself trying 10 different failed attempts… or 40 mins of wasted playtime.. to get to a solution. Please don’t buy this game.

I dont understand why everyone is upset with best buy about the pre order bonus. It says right when you check out that it will be sent to your delivery address.

Never buying videogames again with Best Buy. Tjey did not gave us the Diorama of Zelda. Next time I will boy in Game Stop.

Been Zelda fan 20+ years i am easily bored playing this game for 20 minutes good game but just doesn’t feel like a Zelda game
