Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the engaging gameplay and charming art style as major highlights of "The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom". The story and puzzle-solving elements also receive praise, with many finding them enjoyable and well-designed. However, some players have noted performance issues, including frame rate drops and a somewhat cumbersome menu system. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall reception appears positive.

Not in my top 3 Zelda games but it was a blast to play! I really like the new ways of how you interact with items and the world around you. Its not as difficult as previous titles and theres always multiple solutions to each puzzle, but id say its on the same open world level as breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom considering I explored the majority of the map before even starting the first temple.

This game is amazing. All the negative reviews are for Best Buy not giving their customers the pre-order bonus. It's a shame they couldn't vent their frustration elsewhere because the game itself deserves nothing but 5 stars. Fantastic mechanics, fun character art, great music, great story. All the things we like about the old Zelda titles but plenty of new things to feel like a fresh breath of air.

What a great little game this turned out to be! I honestly wasn't super excited for it when I bought it, but it's actually a delightful twist on the usual Zelda formula by giving you the ability to finally play as Zelda herself, who has completely different methods of combat and exploration than Link usually does, which turns every aspect of the game into a fun kind of mini-puzzle. The overword is just the right size and a ton of fun to explore. The overall difficulty is lower than usual, I think, but the questing and puzzle-solving more than make up for it. I had a lot more fun with the dungeons than I usually do in these games. Again, they were just the right size, and the puzzles and mysteries were rarely overwhelming, but they were still always fun and gratifying to solve. Boss battles are definitely unique, and require Zelda to use her particular abilities in ways you haven't seen before. This game took about 35 hours for me to complete and I was honestly a little sad when it ended, I was having so much fun with it. It's the perfect change of pace for longtime Zelda fans, and I hope everyone will give it a play.

Review of “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” “Tears of the Kingdom” is a masterful continuation of the Zelda franchise that builds on the foundation laid by Breath of the Wild while introducing fresh mechanics and an expansive world that feels alive and endlessly explorable. The game’s story dives deeper into Hyrule’s lore, offering emotional depth and memorable characters, while the new crafting and fusion systems bring creativity to combat and puzzle-solving. Visually stunning and accompanied by a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, the game perfectly balances freedom and structure, allowing players to tackle challenges their way. Whether you’re gliding over picturesque landscapes, solving intricate shrines, or battling fearsome foes, every moment feels crafted with care. For fans and newcomers alike, “Tears of the Kingdom” is a must-play that sets a new standard for open-world adventure games.

The LoZ franchise does it again with this fun title. LoZ Echoes of Wisdom is a fun little game that brings back old Dungeons and gameplay, it keeps it fresh with a fun story and even more fun items to help along your journey. Would definitely recommend to any LoZ fan

Awesome puzzles, curious abilities, and the perfect combat speed for beginners make it a great first Zelda game for anyone. Haven’t gotten more than a couple hours into the plot, but it’s a blast watching my daughter figure things out and giving little tips to help refine her play. Not sure if first grade is the correct age range, as there are quite a few words outside of normal vocab. After reading through and beating games like Yoshi’s Crafted World, Kirby’s Forgotten Land, and Pokemon Violet, Zelda Echoes of Wisdom just seemed like the next game in line for her. Plus, she’s been asking for it ever since game trailers aired haha! Her favorite part is the echoes because they can be used in so many ways. Nice to finally have Zelda as the main character in a Zelda game, as i didn’t really want my daughter to play a Zelda game as Link. However, i think Echoes has effectively shelved Princess Peach’s Showtime, at least for the time being. Parents should be ready to help in the early stages of the game, with creative solutions and tips to help young minds blossom - personal Zelda experience is definitely a plus!

Finally a game where you get to be Zelda herself! Once again, Nintendo delivers another Legend of Zelda masterwork. A spiritual-successor to the wonderful Link’s Awakening remake (in the same isometric adorable toy-like chibi art aesthetic style!) LOVE IT !

Creative, fresh, but still feels like a Zelda game, a different entry in the franchise that makes you feel like you are in the world of Zelda with a different twist, good story (surprisingly) and great gameplay. I recommend to give it a try

FINALLY, after all this time, we get to play as Zelda!! With all the other Zelda games playing as Link, you get very familiar with how to solve the problems the game has with Link. Now playing as Zelda, you have to get use to a whole new way solving puzzles and defeating enemies.

After decades of playing Link, the opportunity to play as Zelda was a welcome and exciting change. Zelda is as capable, smart and stylish as her knightly counterpart. A fun game, if only a little short.

Ever wonder what it would be like to play as Zelda in the Legend of Zelda? Here's a game that actually plays for its namesake as the titular Princess Zelda (that's right, the guy's name is actually Link). This title features a conjuring mechanic where your wand can create learned items to aid you in your quest--a stool to hop up to higher heights is a basic example. It'll hold your attention to the end and you'll want to keep it to play it again.

Disclosure, I have played every major Zelda game in the series since the original debut for NES 1986, so I may be biased. The series abandoned the classic formula with BOTW and TOFK, making the series more approachable for even the youngest of players (think Mario Galaxy) but left the more seasoned player or an older novice wanting more. Enter Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. A healthy mix of classic Zelda elements: stylized visuals, interesting play dynamics, dungeons, robust characters, dramatic story development. Much more depth and richly rewarding, an enjoyable title done in the spirit of Links Awakening. If BOTW and TOTK were your introduction to the series, you owe it to yourself to treat yourself to this classic Zelda experience.

Very entertaining and quickly engaging. Good balance between succeeding and being challenged with puzzles and bosses. Fun story with nostalgic components of the previous Zelda games in a new iteration. Very enjoyable game, strongly recommended.

This is a wonderful Zelda title. Not only is it sweet within the same Hyrule as A Link to the Past and A Link Between Worlds, but it's also the most puzzle-focused game in the series with the main character being Zelda. The puzzles are not big head scratchers like some other games, but a few times I just had to stare at the dungeon room for a while as I considered every possible solution. Of course, the solutions are all found within the long list of echoes (copies of objects and defeated enemies) you have at your disposal, so get well acquainted with all of them. Actually, I never used more than a handful of echoes for anything, because I found those more than suited for solving how to get around and also dispatching enemies. If you are a Zelda fan or even just a fan of puzzles, you owe it to yourself to play this.
