Husband bought this for himself. Ended up taking over the whole game myself. Less complex than Breath of the Wild. Lol. But still a lot of fun.

The original was lots of fun, but the reboot here is super fun! Very nostalgic to play through and then get to the end and get hit in the feels.

I only ever played a little of the original Link's Awakening on Gameboy. Between the tiny screen and the lack of color, I had a hard time with it. Plus the controls were somewhat awkward, requiring a constant shuffling of inventory to the limited A and B buttons. Now, on the Switch, the game works much better. It's not just shiny new graphics but a whole new interactive experience. I am reminded of my favorite game in the Zelda series, a Link to the Past, in terms of gameplay and fun. I heartily recommend this game for anyone nostalgic for retro gaming.

I love this game. It really reminds me of the original Zelda games from the 80’s. So much fun. Highly recommended, especially for fans of the franchise.

Really fun game. Took me back to memoeries when i played it for the gameboy. I think i will replay it again to see what i missed.

This game has is a great remake of the original Game Boy version. Along with a new design, the new dungeon maker is also a fun new addition

I enjoyed this game as much as I did back in the days it came out for game boy. Pretty much identical to the old one with very few changes/additions.

Our daughter loves this game. She plays with her uncle frequently through their Switch Lites. She says it’s fun!

Any fan that played the original will just love this remake. It has amazing graphics quality and the amiibo that matches it unlocks tons of skills.

This was a really good revamp of a classic. I played this game over 20 years ago and it brought back a lot of good memories.

Never played the original on GameBoy so I was fresh coming to this remake. The style and camera angles maintain an updated but still somehow distinctly GameBoy feel. The change in frame rate is noticeable if you are waiting for it but by no means hinders gameplay. I was also worried after Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild that the Links Awakening island would feel confining and small, but the world/map itself is dense! Every inch of the map is loaded with puzzles, treasures, and enemies to battle. A very enjoyable 15 or so hours of play time!

Its a great game. Not very long. It's nothing like BOTW so hey that out of your head. Definitely worth grabbing if your a fan of the Zelda series.

very fun remake of the original. has that classic zelda feel. The kids dont like it as much as Breath of Wild, but it was more for me the adult .

Excellent remake at a premium cost. I was cautious to spend full game price but that was quickly forgotten about as I played through the game.

Recently purchased a switch lite for my girlfriend and wanted her to play some of the games I played growing up and my favorite games were always the Zelda games for Gameboy Color. I was so happy when this game was announced and after wastching her play it, I can say it truly brings me all the nostalgia with amazing new graphics and smooth gameplay. My only gripe is Nintendo games will always be full price and that's so annoying because you can't even wait for a sale, these games stay at full price almost forever.

This game is a must have for all "The Legend of Zelda" fans. It is really entertaining and I really liked the create you're own dungeon feature.
