The original GameBoy game was one of my favorite LoZ games and this new update is such a great remaster! Great game all around!

One of my absolute favorite games as a kid on the Game Boy, this remake of a classic Zelda title (albeit one that was always a little different from the traditional Zelda-style games) reminded me why I loved the game so much. Challenging dungeons, interesting puzzles, and a game that's no easy cakewalk. But I love the characters, the gameplay, and the MUSIC is FANTASTIC! If you enjoyed any other Zelda game in the past, you would be remiss if you didn't play this one!

Love the game. If you’re looking to play a Zelda game that isn’t to long this is perfect and for anyone playing Zelda for the first time.

I went in with mixed feelings as LoZ is one of my favorite franchises, not sure what to expect. I was not convinced yet that it was a faithful remastering of the classic, but in true Nintendo fashion with the aid of Grezzo it was more than I imagined. If any criticism is necessary then the only thing that I can say is it doesn't feel as dark as the original versions. Otherwise, it is exactly what you want out of a LoZ game.

Links Awakening is a reboot of a Gameboy Zelda game that I missed the first time. So I can’t compare it to the original. What I can say is it’s a lot of fun. It’s much different from the other Zelda game on switch Breath of the Wild. This game seems cuter and friendlier then BotW. Links Awakening reminds me a lot of the fun I had playing Zelda Link to the Past many years ago. Anyway I recommend this game a hope that Nintendo will dig up more classics Zelda games for the switch.

Awesome game! Never played the original and this Switch version is awesome play story and colorful characters just awesome! Nintendo is bringing fun to play with Switch console and light portability! It’s about gameplay not just about power like PlayStation and Xbox! And own them as well but the Switch and switch lite is taking over.

Although this is a remake Nintendo took their time and designed it from the ground up. Great game for all Zelda fans!

My 5 yr old plays this and it’s easy to play and follow the story mode for him. Great adventure building game for him.

Brings me back to my old days when I first played Zelda.

Excellent game, really takes me back to my childhood. I’ve enjoyed every single aspect of this game and it’s still pretty much the way I remembered as a kid. Definitely worth buying it and definitely worth the experience again. There are added game experiences and differences with enhance graphics and music. If you had this game is a kid, this will definitely bring back a lot of good memories.

This was a great Zelda game when it originally came out. Even better now, especially if you have not played it before. Enjoy!

We always enjoyed the original games of Zelda. We played them from the very beginning with my children and friends and now we play Zelda with the grandchildren. This will not disappoint game fans of any age. Wasn’t sure what to expect with the our new Switch but everything about this game was fun and exciting to play. From age 6 to age 63 we are all challenged with this game. An excellent game yo enjoy with all your family members. We are enjoying the color, speed and challenging levels.

Great classic game. Zelda never gets old. I recommend this game for any fan of Zelda!

Link’s Awakening has been remade from the ground up with beautifully detailed toy-like visuals, and some new features such as the dungeon “creator”. Unfortunately there just isn’t enough new content to justify the $60 price tag of this remade Gameboy game. When I heard about the dungeon editor, I got pretty excited thinking it may be a Mario-Maker-esque experience that I could share with friends and would add onto the overall replayability of the game. Instead of a full editor, players unlock already-full dungeon rooms that you can place together like a puzzle. Sharing is limited to saving your “building block puzzle dungeon” to an amiibo, and scanning it on a friend’s switch. Just a little disappointing. Link’s Awakening for Switch is definitely worth a play, especially if you’ve never played the original, but keep in mind the game is quite short and low on content for the price you pay.

This is a must have for any fan of the Link/Zelda series. It is a beautiful remake with some added features. 100% recommend.

Excellent game. I keep playing it after finish it several times. I think everyone should try it.
