The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for the Nintendo Switch is one of the best games available on the Switch. Great care was taken upgrading the graphics to a new style that really helps the world come alive. It’s a classic RPG that has been improved with minor tweaks. The story and puzzles are still great. Endless hours are possible if you complete all the side quests or just decide to fish the day away at the pond at Mage Village. This game is a must have for Switch players of all ages!

I like this game. I'm 41 years old. It's just fun, straight forward, puzzle solving, old time gaming. I really like it!

The game looks fantastic and the gameplay is simple yet fun. However, It is far too easy and linear. There is no real challenge to it and no need to really collect anything outside of what the dungeons offer (or required weapons) in order to beat it. Also, The difficult curve oddly ramps up in the last 2 dungeons while every other one before it was a cakewalk. I wish they'd done a better job at progressively making each one harder and harder.

Game has wonderful visuals. Fun typical top down Zelda game with some side scrolling rooms. Some of the puzzles are quite difficult. Personally I would recommend this game to anyone old enough to use google to look up walkthrough's for some of the levels. Can't wait to beat the game! Definitely get this game if you are looking for a puzzle type, singleplayer, adventure game and don't mind the top down style gameplay.

This is a great and faithful remake of one of the best Zelda titles ever put out by Nintendo. I was happily surprised that the game comes with a Master Mode with no heart drops, which makes it a bit more fun and challenging since I've played through the original GB version several times. Even though I was familiar with the game already, this new version is still worth a playthrough, despite the dungeon builder feature being garbage.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my son so he hasn’t payed it but requested it as he loves the Zelda games.

If you're a Zelda fan you have probably already played the original. This remake doesn't disappoint.

I never really liked Zelda but my sister got me hooked now I love it and this one is all in Chibi form they’re all so cute

I’ve been playing Zelda since I was a kid and just the precious titles, this one is amongst those great Zelda titles.

The Zelda series continues to draw you in after all these years. This iteration of the series harkens back to the original with its charm and adventure. The graphics and gameplay make it challenging but very fun.

Hadn't played Zelda in a while. So glad I got this game. Enjoyable through and through.

If I played it the first time around, I've no recollection, but this version with its total and adorable graphics overhaul feels like a fresh new game anyway. It's fun but, as it's retro roots show, absurdly obscure when it comes to guiding the players. Knowing where to go and what to do next felt a lot like a 90s point and click game where you just keep interacting with everything until something happens. Still, it's hard not to enjoy this adventure even when it's confounding you.

This game was an amazing return to Koholint Island and is a master class in 2D Zelda. The updated style works incredibly well for this entry. Absolutely recommend this game

I may be biased in my review because I am a huge old school zelda fan. The game is back to the roots of top down Zelda. If you have only played breathe of the wild make sure to look up gameplay so you aren't taken by surprise. Gameplay and graphics are great. Only issue I have with the game along with everyone else is the framerate issue. When entering a new zone your FPS will drop from 60 to 30 for a few seconds, it does not ruin the game whatsoever but it is very noticable.

Super fun game but after a week of playing, about 2 hrs a day, in the verge of beating it. Still worth the adventure.

Such an excellent little game and is worth the price of admission for any fans of the Zelda series. Honestly, for those who have never played a Zelda game before, I would probably recommend starting with Link's Awakening over Breath of the Wild (which I absolutely loved). Less time commitment and it's a bit more forgiving. Either way, awesome game and a blast to play!
