Loved the original on Game Boy Color, this version of the game is excellent. The vibrant colors, the cute character style, added content with creating extra dungeons! Anyone that likes Zelda games will love this game for sure!

I bought this game for my 9 year old as a birthday gift, having played it myself some 30 years ago on the Gameboy when I was his age. The game is exactly as I remember it, which is nice because I can help him with some of the puzzles. Good story line and not-too-difficult puzzles to solve for a younger audience. There are plenty of in game hints to keep the game moving forward. All in all, we have both enjoyed playing immensely.

I’m old. I played the original Zelda game, the one that came with a paper map. You only needed to use the A & B buttons for weapons and the rocker button to move up, down, left, and right. It’s the only game I ever completed. I’ve been a very casual gamer since then, they’ve just gotten too hard for someone who only plays an hour or two a week. This version of Zelda is right up my alley. The graphics are way better but the game play is very similar and my daughter agreed it wouldn’t be too hard for me. So far I’m loving it and if you’re like me you will, too

I finished this game recently and absolutely loved it. I was hesitant about picking this one up for the full price. I heard it was a remake of a GameBoy title and worried it would be short and simple. It was completely different than I was expecting and then exactly what I was expecting. It plays like a classic Zelda game but this remake gives it a fresh coat of paint. So adorable and fun, you'll definitely get plenty of time out of this game. The soundtrack is great too! I've been listening to the ending song on repeat :)

This is a fun, family friendly version of a classic game. We loved the Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild stories of Link and Zelda, but this brought it back to something that even my six year old could enjoy.

Links awakening is Classic, Nostalgia, What’s not to love. This is classic Zelda at it’s best ! The graphics are old school and refreshing to see on Nintendo Switch, Much better than botw in my opinion, Links Awakening is a must have, Go buy it now if you haven’t already, You won’t regret it , I sure don’t.

I remember staying up all night long playing the original game. 3D graphics are a definite improvement. Not sure if this version has the same story line or not but I remember staying up all night long for several nights in a row playing the original.

The art style of this game is amazing and is a true throwback to older games. It plays along the style of older Zelda games, but it is just beautifully done. I was compelled to play this until the final boss with no hesitation.
