I think if you are trying to get into Zelda, this is a great starter game. It is not too long, but has enough quests to keep you busy. I will definitely be replaying it.

Link's Awakening is a super engaging Zelda experience that leaves you wanting more by the end of it. It is easy to get lost in the world and not know where exactly to go, but exploring the island and talking to npcs will surely help you. The combat, items, story, music, and characters make Link's Awakening a fantastic remake of a traditional entry to the Zelda franchise.
