Classic Zelda game that looks great on the Switch. Fun for beginners just getting acclimated with the series as well!

I played the original back in the day, but didn't remember it all that well. As I was playing this remake I had memories come back, which was awesome. They have really made this game its own and given it cute character. I enjoyed spending my time collecting everything and beating the game to 100% completion.

I bought this version of Zelda because it brings me back to the Super Nintendo version I loved. I’m not a big fan of 3D games that spin around. This game gives a more stable vantage point and is easier to play. I like focusing on the puzzles and tasks at hand instead.

I am very pleased to play this one because even though I have played it a couple times in the past in its original glory, I never completed it nor aimed to explore every nook and cranny. With this remastered version I was drawn by the colors and art where every space was an absolute treat. Great short game!

I loved the game, Probably one of my favorite Zelda's. I'd say you'd have to have a taste for 2d games if you want to play this and really enjoy it. I finished it and I thought it was really good and possibly a very replayable game. Delivery was fast as well.

For me, this is the perfect Zelda game for Switch. I grew up with the Legend Of Zelda on NES, so I'm old school and not always the best with modern video games. I had never played the original Gameboy version, but this feels like a good fit for someone who loved Zelda on NES.

I grew up with the original Link's Awakening, and it was my favorite Zelda game. This remake does it justice in visual, sound, and whimsical charm. Even if you've never played the original, you can jump right into this remake and enjoy a lovely re-imagining of one of the defining games for the Game Boy.

The art style of this game is beautiful! The only thing that bugged me was the fuzziness around the edges of the screen but after an hour or two of playing it, I hardly noticed it anymore. A great game and a must buy! Suitable for all ages.

Game is fun but really short compared to Breath of the Wild, maybe 20 hours long if you’re trying to collect everything. Never played the original on game boy but this remake on switch plays well and presents some challenging puzzles. Worth it if you can get it on discount!

The Link's Awakening remake is really really good. It does have a few hiccups with it's frame rate currently, and the choice to put blurring on the top and bottom of the screen wasn't something I liked at all. But in terms of gameplay and especially the awesome music, this game is great. Remade very well.

This is one of the best Zelda games available. It's old school style gameplay with modernized graphics. It has action and lots of puzzles too. The music is also very memorable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this remake/remaster. My only complaint is that I WISH I could have used the D-Pad to control Link. Would have saved me so much frustration.

Performance is very choppy! Not as I expected but still a fun game nonetheless. Just wish it was optimized just a bit better.

Link's Awakening retains the style and feel of its 1993 self, but looks and controls like a game – albeit a retro-styled one – made in 2019. In doing so, this feels like it was made in some alternate present, where games remained in 2D, puzzle-focused and strange, but tech improved to support it all.

Never played the original version for Gameboy so this was all new to me. After the open world challenges of Breath of the Wild, the more traditional Zelda was a needed change of pace. Cute and vivid graphics, challenging puzzles and a new setting all make an exceptional addition to the Zelda lineage.

I loved the original Link's Awakening on the Game Boy when I was younger. This is a great way to re-introduce the game for a new generation of gamers. The graphics are stylishly done, with a plastic, shiny toy look to them, and the music is top-notch.

This game is an EXACT copy of the Game Boy game that came out about 25 years ago. It's a little short compared to some most games now, however, it is very fun. One or two things were added to this version along with a dungeon maker. The updated controls from the two button Game Boy set up are great.

I loved this game. It brought me way back to the original Zelda. My only issue is that it was too short. It only took me about a week to get through the game.

This throwback version really captures the essence of the original Zelda from Nintendo, but adds all of the wonderful additions from the newest versions. It's honestly exactly what I was hoping for once I saw the previews for this game. If you were a fan of the original Zelda, you will love this game!
