This an isometric adventure game focused on explororation and nintendo hits it out of the park.

The best remaster of any Zelda game so far. What a tremendous amount of whimsy, beauty, and style. I’ve played Link’s Awakening many times, but this beautiful remaster elevated the experience and lifted my memories of childhood play through a back to the front of my mind.

Very cute and a great throwback. However the game doesn't take long to complete, so I would maybe wait to see if it goes on sale to purchase.

Link's Awakening is a , timeless title. It's a great experience for anyone looking for that original 2D Zelda fix. This remake is as good as it gets. The design still shows signs of being from a more rudimentary age of gaming, but it still holds up well. The remake has a few hiccups here and there: Stuttering frame rates every once in a while , for instance. I also wish they would have prioritized cutting load-times over higher visual fidelity. However both items are minor nitpicks. Ultimately the game is an excellent title that is still worth picking up now, decades later.

My sister’s older kids enjoyed Zelda BOTW so much that they played it for HOURS. To them, it was more than just a game - it was one magnificent adventure. So when I saw Link’s Awakening, I was so thrilled to be able to add one more Zelda adventure to their collection.

Framerate drops consistently, almost to the point of being unacceptable.

This is a great game. If you love Zelda then you'll love this game. if you don't love Zelda you still might like this game. Slightly different take on a remake of a classic. The cover of the book looks a little bit different but the story inside is still the same and great.

Though it is the same game from the gameboy back in the early 90's it is still great fun. The updated graphics are exceptionally good and, the main draw to replay. I did not take advantage of the build features. If you've never played in the past, this is definitely a game to get.

This game is what introduced me to the LOZ series back when it was release on the gameboy. It bought me nostalgia to replay an old friend. I just wish they added more to it then just port over. The dungeon creation is a fun for a bit but not limitation makes it repetitive. Overall it was still nice to see a new make over and glad they took time to do that. Only complaint is that it should've been priced a little less, since game is old enough you can emulate original on a phone nowadays.

Loving being able to play what my brother used to play in a 3D world, I remember playing some of the original, and this is just sparking memories! Super cute, I’ve definitely had to google some help but I’m figuring it out!

Link’s Awakening was a unique classic in the series. Nintendo has done a excellent beautifully redoing it. The new art style is similar to Wind Waker but it’s much more detailed and polished. Don’t miss out on this Zelda classic. Wonderful new islands, characters and dungeons. Definitely pick it up.

I won’t get into huge detail about this game but if you liked the original, you will like this one. I was a little disappointed at first because it is more a reimagining than a remake, but once I got used to the new graphics I fell in love. That whole process maybe took a half hour. Great game!

Reminds me of the old school game so much... I feel like a little kid again on my game boy. Recommend if you want some nostalgia

I was blown away by this game! Yes, it’s not your open world 3D Zelda game but wait til you start playing it. It’s very engaging, will make you think hard what to do next, and it’s very rewarding when you beat a dungeon level. One of the best Zelda games, probably my 5th favorite Zelda game.

Absolutely adorable and a different animation/take on the original style of Legend of Zelda gameplay with the right amount of challenge that usually stumps me in the more open world Legend of Zelda games. This was the best deal on this edition of the game and I am still early on in gameplay.

This game was really great, even though this was a remake this was my first run through but i still found it a bit too expensive since the game is so short.

My son loves playing Zelda Links Awakening! His favorite is the animation on this game.

Had played this to virtually no end as a kid when it was originally released. Was reasonably excited when it was announced but was hesitant to hear it would be a full-priced re-release. Even still, the story and gameplay stand the test of time and is worth adding to any Zelda fan's collection.

My 9 year old son loves Zelda games. He plays mostly on DS, but he was blown away by Breath of the Wild on Switch. He was so excited to play another great Zelda adventure on the Switch. Great graphics and wonderful gameplay. They did an excellent job rebooting a classic Zelda game

I loved this game when it came out for the GameBoy, and the remake does it justice. Every character and creature is adorably recreated in the game's new art, and adds to the original's many charms. It's a short adventure, but well worth the price of admission.
