From my understanding this was a remake of an older Zelda game. Though I have not played the original, I have to say that I truly enjoyed this game! It was loads of fun that our entire family could enjoy!

Is a pretty fun zelda game, i really appreciate the storyline for this one, the new character link helps makes the story very heartfelt and feels like link has a deeoer connection with them than nire recent zelda games

I really love the art style of this game! The glossy plastic feel makes everything looks like old school toys. The game itself is pretty fun too, maybe not as much content as BOTW but it's still a must own nintendo exclusive game.

I am an older switch player, who wanted a game after animal crossing. I am enjoying playing the games my kids played the first time around

Excellent game with a very nostalgic feel! If you're a fan of classic Zelda games, or that dungeon-esque style of game, this one's for you! Graphics look amazing, it's a fun, family-friendly, new-to-zelda friendly, game!

I never played the original game so I cannot compare but I love the new game and the updated graphics from the pictures I’ve seen. Now if we can just get them to remake some other games like Diddy Kong racing and Banjo Kazooie!!

I played and beat the original gameboy version many times and this remake on the switch did not disappoint. The music in this game is memorable and the remix is actually great! Highly recommend to add to your switch collection!

If you played the original, you already know how charming Koholint is and have probably already bought this game but if you missed the original... you are in for a treat. Highly recommend this to all fans off classic Zelda games.

Link’s Awakening was one of my all-time favs for Game Boy when I was a kid. I love this new 3D retelling of one of the best Zelda games in the franchise. Tons of puzzles, enemies, characters and adventure!

My son says that this game is really fun, it has dungeons, dark forests and monsters that you have to defeat in order to advance in the game. He is 11, loves the game.

Nintendo has done a very good job of remaking a Gameboy Classic. The new game features a toy-like art style with a tilt shift view. It looks like you are looking into a diorama with a hazy fog around the screen. The designers did a good job of updating the controls and gameplay of the original release. The story is very Twin Peaks like in it's execution and includes cameos from many other Nintendo Properties like Mario Bros. and Kirby to name a few.

This remake faithfully captures all the magic of the original Link's Awakening in a super cute art style and plenty of quality of life updates. Good pickup whether you've played the original or are diving in for the first time.

I always like legend of zelda games and versus its original gameboy its ten times better.

Having grown up with the original NES this game is a great way to play an old-fashioned game. The game play is flawless and if I didn't know this game was originally released on the Gameboy I would think it's a brand new game.

I will keep it short. The game is a traditional style zelda. Dungeons and puzzle solving/questing in between dungeons. Outstanding soundtrack and very faithful to the original. A lot of OG Zelda fans may prefer this over BOTW.

Absolutely freakin awesome. I have been a Legend of Zelda fan from the beginning and this is just another chapter of awesomeness. I can't believe what I was missing as I should have played this sooner.

This game has been brought from the past to the present and any gamer should pick it up. Beautiful art and music and puts the basics of Zelda games on full display. Fun gameplay and some clever puzzles that anyone can enjoy.
