A wonderful game to play so Nostalgic & a great game for the little ones as well

This game is not very long. But it has one of the best experiences among all of the switch games.

Link's Awakening was always one of my favorite titles in the series. Unfortunately, the limitations of the Gameboy made playing LA a hassle (2 buttons means CONSTANTLY swapping items). Now, with this re-release, that is no longer a problem. This title has a great story and some of the best puzzles in the series. Toss in some Mario enemies and side scrolling segments, and you have an amazing adventure you won't soon forget.

Plays just like the original, just better in every way. Besides the less then steller framerate.

Spent more than 20 hours with this so far. Puzzles, riddles and action abound.

This is a wonderful game! It does the original justice and features breathtaking scenery.

Ever since I owned the original version of the game, it was one of my favorites. The puzzles were challenging, side quests fulfilling, and the inventory well-rounded. This update brought back the same feeling with upgraded textures, sound, and color. The added feature of the dungeon maker gave the game even more challenges of creating a compelling dungeon to conquer. I would recommend this game to veterans and newbies alike.

I'd never played the original before, and I'm actually glad because it meant that I was that much more delighted with this remake. The art is adorable but the gameplay still gets progressively harder, and I've been a little shocked at how much I get sucked in. It is possible to wander off the overall route at times and need a refresher on where your next goal is, but it's still a blast. I'd highly recommend this to everyone.

pretty enjoyable game, and easy to get through for the most part. I liked the adorable art style (both in-game and in the opening/ending cutscenes), and the music was good, a tad repetitive but still very beautiful. I did have some qualms with the outdated level design though. as it is a complete remake of the original game, the gameplay itself is quite rough compared to today's standards, and the final two dungeons are downright infuriating. you'll seriously need a walkthrough if you've never played link's awakening before (like me), and even then, some of the dungeons have had some things moved around compared to the original game, so it can get a little confusing. regardless, its pretty good. not the best zelda game on the system, but I still had fun with it.

rating this based on the merits of it being a remake, not the actual original game (though the original is very fun). the art style is fantastic, the musical score remixes are endearing and get stuck in your head, and the quality of life improvements to the user interface and button mapping are most welcome. can’t really say enough about this game. if you enjoyed the original link’s awakening, you’ll love this game.

I love the Zelda line. Since a little kid this game was it.

Zelda is always going to be my number 1 game of choice! Love this game.

Fun game great deal of the day Good value and an excellent stocking stuffer

I love this game. i never played zelda before but this was a great game. i love that it has simple controls. The gameplay is great! The puzzles arent super easy so it takes a little thinking but actually doing the puzzled isnt hard.

I really enjoyed playing this game. I didn’t play it when it was released on the gameboy color years ago, so I didn’t have anything to compare this game to. However, the dungeons were fun and the bosses were not too difficult on normal mode. My only concern is that the game was a little too expensive at $59.99. Luckily, I used games club unlocked to get 20% off. Not sure I would have bought it if I didn’t get the 20% off.

Zelda fan. Had to get it. It’s a Zelda game. Exactly what you’re looking for.

Charming remake of the 1993 classic, which stays true to the story while the graphical style is updated to a fresh toy-like motif. The map has been improved and some of the inventory system. Best Buy always seems to deliver on time, and the driver gave me a heads up text, both when they started to drive to me for delivery and once they dropped off my package. Thanks!

A faithful remake to the original 1993 GameBoy game with modern HD graphics and sounds. The modern controls offering four buttons to map four items, makes item management so much easier than juggling two items found in the original controls. A must have Zelda remake for any Zelda fan, but especially for those Zelda fans who loved the original GameBoy title.

Brought back memories of the original Gameboy and dungeon creator is fun as well.

Now, I love how a lot of games are being remastered and remade but so far this is by far the best I have seen. Everything about it is wonderful! If you enjoyed the classic you will fall in love with the remake. The graphics, colors, and over all look is so clean and crisp! It is so worth picking this up even if you are new to the Zelda series or you are a die hard fan you cannot go wrong adding this to your collections.
