I went into this game not playing the game boy version. I must say after breath of the wild being so open world. It was refreshing to go back into a classic Zelda style game. The story is fun and the remake is faithful to the original. The only negative I would give the game is the slight frame rate hiccup that occurs occasionally. Other than that it’s a great game!

This is how you do a remake. Update everything but still never lose the charm of what made the orginal special. Nintendo hit another home run with this one and its great for people who played the original on Gameboy to revisit the classic storyline and setting and its great for people who are jumping into this for the first time. Great remake of a classic. The dungeon builder element that was added is really fun and brings lots of replayability to an already fully satisfying game.

I recently finished this game, and as someone that bought the original GameBoy version of this, the DX version for Game Boy Color, this game does the original justice, and even brought forth really good Quality of Life improvements for the game involving juggling Link's items, and made it more akin to LttP or Link Between Worlds. This game is also very, very cute.

Long time fan of Zelda, this is a great addition to the saga. I don't play video games much any more, but slowly working my way through this game was a good experience. For the most part, you don't have to sit and play for long periods of time with this title. I probably appreciate that the most.

The game was better than I’d expected! I played the game with a walkthrough guide to 100% beat the game, and to make sure I don’t leave anything behind. I’m not great at finishing a game all the way through, but this game was so entertaining it made it worthwhile. The full gameplay hour is about 60, so you can decide how quick you’ll like to complete it.

I just started playing this a few days again, so I'm not very far. It is a remade version of an older Zelda game and it is done beautifully. It plays and sounds like the old game, but has a look like Animal Crossing. It is beautifully done. If you younger or just haven't played any of the older Zelda's, this is a great start.
