We were excited to play this together since I showed him the original game boy version. But after playing it, my son says this is up there with Breath of the Wild for his favorite Zelda games.

Great game! Lots of fun and challenging. Brings back memories from when I played older version. The game looks great as well. Would definitely recommend if you like older Zelda games.

Love the Zelda series of games and this one has not disappointed. The effects are great and the story brings back childhood memories. It provides hours of fun during our stay at home!

I never played the original Link's Awakening. I have enjoyed going through this game for the first time. It feels more like a normal Zelda game than BOTW since it has more traditional dungeons.

Great game, very cutely animated with amazong gameplay and story

I love this game! For being 74 years old and still enjoying games like this one. The puzzle solving, music and same old feel like the original. NO WAY could I find anything bad about this game.

Just wish there was more to do! I just purchased it and am already almost through it— haha!! But really cute take on the Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening.

Nintendo doesn’t make a bad game. I didn’t play the original version so I’m new to this title and I’m glad I’m just getting to it now. I think you’ll enjoy it even if you did play the original.

Great Zelda game, I have played most of them growing up, but some how I never managed to play this one. Im glad they decided to remake this and give me another shot at it. Great Game

One of the best games I’ve played on the switch in a while. Loved this game as a kid and I love it as an adult. The $50 price point is high for what you get though so wait until it’s on sale.

Great game! Love the old school feel like the original Zelda game

I remember playing this as a kid on gameboy and it was like reliving a piece of my childhood. The graphics are great as well as the story line. Great adventure game to take with you on the go.

Chicks will dig this game. It's adorable, and a lot of fun. Best part is that you can play this game while you wait for the next Legend of Zelda game to come out. Loved it.

A brilliant remake of the original Game Boy game. A must own for fans of the franchise. It isn't the longest game, but more than makes up for it with addictive gameplay and beautiful graphics.

Had all previous versions of the game. Knew what to expect in this do over. They did a good job and I'm happy for the update. Whether you're new or an old pro, get a copy. You won't regret it.

Love it. An amazing remake. I played the original Gameboy Color and the new graphics and gameplay is wonderful. True to the original but fresh and innovative. What else can I say, I Love It.

It's a Zelda game, so of course it's good. I didn't get to play the original, but am really enjoying playing this game with my family. If you are a fan of Zelda games, you better pick this up.

I never played the original version of this game (for the Game Boy Color, I believe). Nevertheless, this game is great! If you loved the OG Zelda style game then you will love this one!

This is a great game. People may be complaining about the frame rate but it does not affect playing the game at all. Occasional hitch here and there but this is a classic game brought modern.

I remember playing this on GameBoy Pocket/Color. A good game back then, only a little less so now. The cartoonishness of the game is kinda lame, but some people like that sort of look I guess.. The price point is the only real negative, as again, this was a GameBoy Pocket game with no real improvement, so what they're asking for it is fairly ridiculous
