This game was intended for my gf late Christmas present, she loves it! It's more of the nastalgic feel to it cartoonish and kid friendly graphics but even though the details and animation thats put into this game is awesome I recommend this for those that love old-school nintendo style games for both adults and kids!

I played the original on my Gameboy as a kid. This helped me relive the overall experience with beautiful, dream-like visuals and updated quality of life changes. One of the best versions of the game!

Fantastic game, purchased for my little brother who is too young to remember the gameboy version of the game. Its a great way to experience a classic with modern graphics.

I've never played the original on Gameboy or the DX version on Gameboy Color so I decided to pick this up. I have to say I fell in love instantly. It's got that old school feel to it and I love the art style they chose to make the game in. The crane game is fun as well, though it can be frustrating at times lol. If you're a Zelda fan, this is a must.

Fantastic game, looks great on the switch both in hand held mode and docked. The only thing that I had trouble with is that the frame rate in the game can be inconsistent.

This game is a wonderful update to the Game Boy classic! There's a ton of nostalgia that this game brought while playing it, and it's a great story with awesome visuals. A couple super minor issues, there's no d-pad control and the game has a couple slowdowns when going between areas. Easily one of the best Zelda games and unique story to play!

If you ever played the original Links Awakening from back in 1993 you are in for a great romp through this great experience all over again. The game is 100% faithful to the original and looks amazing on the Switch. Even if you have never played Link's awakening, this is an amazing experience to be had for any gamer.

Pros- I love the art style, graphics really pop on my Samsung 4k HDTV. Really shows the advancements weve had since GameBoy Color. Gameplay is simple old school Legend Of Zelda hack n slash/dungeon searching goodness. Cons- Right now you cant play with the dpad, you have to use the stick which is a little weird for this game but nothing major. There are places were the game stutters for a second or two but smooths out quickly. I dont really dig the blur effect thats on everything around what youre looking at, hope theyll remove that in an update. And I guess I would say after Breath Of The Wild I wouldnt really consider this a $60 game, maybe they shouldve went with $40.

This is a really fun game! I haven't played the original, but I think this was a great introduction to the storyline for me. The plot is interesting, and the graphics are awesome. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new video game to purchase/play, especially if you're a Legend of Zelda fan.

When this game was announced I was thrilled. I played through the original on the gameboy when I was a kid and loved every bit of it back then. This remake lived up to all of my expectations. The graphical style Nintendo choose really fit this game well. I couldn't put it down after I started. If you own a Switch you must buy this game!!

A great game reinvigorating the old Zelda game of the past. Without playing BOTW, Link's Awakening is an introduction into the genre of adventure/RPG elements of Zelda games from old. The graphics do the original justice and the charm of the game is kept along with its 2019 version. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in Zelda games!
