Wished I would have bought this earlier. Have been a fan of the Zelda series for many years and I loved that they brought back the "Link to the Past" style of play back. I had problems really getting into Breath of the Wild, but this game was a really great return the the classic Zelda style games.

I played the original COMPULSIVELY on the original Game-Boy so I was very excited when this game was announced. The actual product release did not disappoint. This bright vibrant game is such a faithful recreation of the original that you have to just smile when you see it up on your screen. Such a great game for ALL ages.

It’s simply a very well done remake. The original was a classic, and this edition brings wonderful new graphics to go along with the original great gameplay. I wish they give A Link to the Past this treatment too. If you like Zelda games at all, I would call this game a must play, even if you’ve played the original before already.

I'm a little biased. My dog's name is Zelda and I'm pretty obsessed with anything Legend of Zelda related, but this game still deserves praise. It looks amazing and is so much fun. It has all of the nostalgia of Zelda games of the past, but with the polish of today's biggest games. I highly recommend this game for any Zelda fan!

Bought it as a gift for my girlfriend, and she loves it! Since I never got to play the original version, this was quite the trip back in time for me.

If you're a Zelda fan, and chances are if you're looking at reviews, you won't want to miss out on this game. Having played all of the Zelda games, it was great to see this one get a new life. Graphics are great! Same storyline. Great opportunity for getting a new generation of gaming fans hooked on an incredible franchise!

I enjoy playing legend of Zelda links awakening. I used to play Zelda years ago on Nintendo. It’s cute and I love games where you have to search for items.

One of the best Zelda games gets gorgeously remastered. A must buy for any Link's Awakening fan. They wasted their time on the dungeon maker, they could have added something deeper rather than the maker with 0 incentive to partake in it. Either way, well worth the money.

Fun remake of a great classic. Great graphics, music, etc. If you like classic Zelda, you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful remake, classic game. I just wish they’d made it longer. However Best Buy FINALLY matched the price of the physical copy with the digital copy. They need to do that with ALL GAMES. Why do we have to pay more when we’re not even getting as much?

If you've never played it, it's fun, but nothing like the newer Zelda games, so don't expect an epic. If you have played it and are revisiting, the color dungeon wasn't as cool as I wanted it to be. The addition of the dungeons that you make are cool, but...there isn't much of a point unless you are really trying to do EVERYTHING. Then addition of the Mario series figurines is cool too, but also not necessary for completion. All of the additions to the game played out and felt like filler to me. Messed with them for a bit,and called it good. Overall, it's fun, but would be more fun at a lower price point.

What a solid remake. New music score is awesome. Controls are simple. The positive changes to the game like the strength bracelet being a constant active item is nice. Only one thing wrong with this game and that's the occasional frame rate drop. Other than that, if you like Zelda games, stop reading and go buy this one

I was a little hesitant to purchase this game because I had never played the original & playing with the camera view looking down the on the character didn’t sound fun. But I was pleasantly surprised how fun this game actually was all the way though. I only put it down to sleep and go to work.

This game is fun to play and fairly easy to beat, but offers plenty of small challenges to make the game challenging enough. I was able to finish a little faster than I expected but felt I got my money's worth. This is not the epic Breath of the Wild type adventure, if that's what you are expecting.

I never played the original but I am absolutely enjoying this reimagining of this game. I wasn't too crazy about the animation at first, when I saw the trailer for the game but I got over that really quickly. I think it absolutely works in this case. It's everything you love about a Legend of Zelda game. I highly recommend!

I remembered playing this game on my Gameboy in '93. It's the only game I completed more than once. Though I never did find all of the hidden secrets. I picked this game up recently. It's very much like the classic with a few new add-ons. You must play this game if you enjoyed the original.

This game does not hold your hand outside of vague hints or objective reminders that you sought out. Modernization of button utilization is also a plus from the original only using two action buttons before. This is perfect for those that loved the original but newcomers might be put off by the lack of additional content.

This is a remake of a Gameboy game and it's what every remake should strive to be like. The game looks amazing. It's from a top down perspective with 3d models. The graphics are smooth and clear. The world is immersive. The story is one of the best in the Zelda franchise.

This game is great. A beautiful update of a Gameboy classic. There is the occasional bit of slow-down, but nothing terribly bad. This game has a dungeon maker so you can make Zelda dungeons for your friends and family to play. There is no online option for sharing the dungeons, though.
