This isn't an epic open world adventure like Breath of the Wild... it's the last of the linear story Zelda games that came before it. But it's also the only one to feature full 1:1 motion control sword fighting using the Switch Joycons. That alone makes it worth a pickup.

It’s just like the original Skyward Sword, but… —You have the option to use the control stick instead of motion controls. —The animation is way smoother —They may some of the cutscenes skippable, which is great if you’re already familiar with the story It was always a great game, but those tweaks make this the game the original should have been!

Fun game. It took me a little while to get used to the controls, as the Zelda game is very much focused on swordplay. But once I got the hang of it, I enjoyed it.

great game with great graphics and great story line

Game is just as good as it was 10 years ago. With the upgrade of HD and 60fps, the game flows smoothly. Visually Beautiful. You get the option to experience the game with the traditional motion controls or with the newly added button controls. A great Zelda title thought to almost never make a comeback. Highly recommended if you've never played it.

The game starts off slow but as you progress the game becomes addicting. I fell in love with this game.

I never got a chance to play the original, so I'm really happy to get the HD version! I've been really enjoying this game - I can definitely see its influence on BOTW. The motion controls are NOT my favorite but I'm still having a lot of fun.

I’ve been a fan of Zelda since the original. The gameplay is fun, the graphics are beautiful, the storyline is interesting.

The Zelda series has been a favorite of mine since I was young. I did not play this game when it was on the Wii, so I was excited to play a Zelda game that was new to me. I did enjoy the game overall, but I found the motion controls frustrating because of the constant need to reset the gyro. I also tried the button controls with the pro controller but I found that even more difficult to get used to. I did complete the game and while it's not my favorite Zelda game, I'm glad I played it.

I can understand why Skyward Sword was not liked back when it came out on the Wii but playing it now on Switch feels like a completely different experience. Great game that any fan should play through.

Not sure where to begin with how excellent this game is. It's the most fun I've had playing video games in years. Unlike BOTW, this game has a more linear progression but still has lots of side quests to keep things interesting.

I never got the chance to play this on the original console because my husband squirreled it away before I could get to it. From what I'm hearing I missed out on overexposure to Fi. This is a fun game and I'm enjoying playing it on my Switch lite. I don't have the amiibo yet, but still using the save statue to go back home still works.

I loved that I was able to do an online pick up within a few hours and that it was ready early! The game itself is fantastic - as someone who lived BOTW this is a great game to play after while waiting for BOTW2. It's visually beautiful and the option to roam around in world and take the advent oat your own pace is wonderful.

Gone are the motion Controls. Super fun and enjoyable
