This game is legendary, it’s my first time playing and I’m hooked. The characters in the story feel much more personal and thought out. This HD version improves a lot from the original I found out from some research I’ve done.

I love Zelda games. I really enjoyed the animation in this one. It gives a cozy vibe if that makes sense. There’s so much to do in these games they will always be my favorites.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is a great remaster that brings a fresh new look to a decade old game. The new non-motion controls option that requires sword swings via moving the right stick add a new layer of fun to combat.

I played the original Wii release and loved it. Better visuals, control options (I still love the motion controls) and amiibo support. I still love it, just even more. Many criticize this game for being terrible, but I don't think it deserves to get rated poorly. It isn't the best in the series, but it isn't a bad game by any means. I think Nintendo has built a reputation such that everyone's expectations are really high, and mostly they deliver. Occasionally, they'll fall a little. However, even their "bad" games are on par with great games of other devs. Remember, this was pre-BOTW, so be thankful that this game was a learning step needed to get to BOTW, which is quite possibly the best in the series. I did like the darker tone of Twilight Princess, though.

I’ve been waiting for this game for years and it was well worth it. It story is amazing the art style looks absolutely beautiful in HD. If you never played this game on Wii and wanted to do yourself a favor and buy it.

Loved this game on the Wii I'm happy the it's got a 60fps release on the switch. I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the motion controls although button controls have been added for those who prefer those

One of my favorite Zelda games and I know that is a controversial opinion but the higher resolution on this game looks absolutely amazing and really lets this game shine its brightest. A must buy.

I first started Skyward Sword back in high school when a friend let me borrow it, but I never played very far into the story on my Wii. I found the controls a bit frustrating and just gravitated toward other games instead. So when I heard about Skyward Sword HD with some improvements made to the in game camera and controls, I was excited to revisit the game! It has been very enjoyable so far, even though the controls take a bit of getting used to, it's markedly better in my view. Definitely recommend this game as we wait for Breath of the Wild 2 and (hopefully) any other Zelda remakes or ports! The Skyward Sword themed joycons are well worth the money too, they look really neat and add a nice touch as you play through Skyward Sword HD.

This is a fantastic upgrade to the original game. All of the annoying features from the original are gone. What's left is a game that plays the way you want. Combat is a pleasure with the new motion controls.

Great remake of the original on the Wii. Never was much for the motion control on adventure type games. The switch update makes using the pro controller possible. Looks gorgeous as always. Been playing since '85.

Finally this Zelda game got the HD treatment. They also added button controls if the motion controls are too much of a pain. I personally enjoy using the motion controls. Great origin story to the Zelda Series.

I was a fan of the the wii version but this one manages to be even better. Sharp graphic enhancements and gameplay adjustments make this an awesome experience! Worth the re-purchase!

Super Underrated Zelda Game! The best story of the series, one of the best series of dungeons of the franchise, the best characterization of Link and Zelda, a great villain, cool gameplay and an epic soundtrack!

As a long-time Legend of Zelda fan, I was completely devastated with the original release of the game. The forced use of Wii motion controls made it difficult to progress in the game, forcing me to hang up the game without even clearing the first dungeon. I was reluctant at first to try the Skyward Sword remaster, but caved as we still have another year before the Sequel to Breath of the Wild. However, I was quickly blown away by how beautiful and engaging Skyward Sword is! With revamped controls, the game felt smooth like butter and I was finally able to witness the origin story of the heroes. The game is still challenging, but not because of flawed controls and offers a stunning setting and exciting adventure.

Never had the opportunity to play this on the Wii system and decided to give it a try. It is a great game in its own right. A little linear, but I’m enjoying myself with the story, gameplay and puzzles.

Its a cleaned up version of the Wii game. Its not a mind blowing graphics upgrade but everything is less blurry and is HD. The different controller configurations are a nice addition for those who never played the original version because they didnt want to play with motion controllers. Shouldve been a $39.99 game or bundled with another Zelda game.

This tells a compelling origin story, the controls are a little different but keeps you on your toes.

Over 10 years in the making and it felt like riding a bike hopping back on and exploring the skies. The remake is beautifully done and visually amazing and its portable so you never have to stop playing.
