For the first time since I’ve payed Zelda I’ve been killed by a bat. Terrible controls and frustrating gaming experience. Two stars for the graphics and the story. Seems like it would be a great game but not interested in working around this mess. I play to escape from everyday problems not to be frustrated.

Frustrating game with a good story. Everything from the mechanics to the puzzles are frustrating in this game and no, not because they're challenging. Unless you were a big fan of the original release and want to relive it now in HD I'd skip this Zelda entry. Especially for 60 bucks... You'll have a better time replaying Breath of the Wild for the 2nd or 3rd time.

Great Zelda game! Having lots of fun, I was expecting some graphic improvements, this is the same game from 2011.

Never played this on wii but now that’s it’s on switch I gave it a chance and honestly it’s a great gem. And should be part of any fan of Zelda it has great music and bosses and it’s a call back to the old classics nothing like botw which is honestly so bland

Solid Zelda game. A little tough to get used to the controls/camera movements but once you do it is a fun game.

Never played this on Wii because of motion controls. Being able to play with a controller made me buy this game.

Controls are still a bit weird, but happy to finally get to play a release in the series I hadn’t played before.

This game is one of my favorites, I like it better in the switch than in the play station 2

This is ok, not as great as I hoped for the port but it works. Not sure has fast I'll finish it..

You know. a remake and all, but the adaptation to the switch controls is nice and more enjoyable than prior.

A good game but the controls feel forced. I widh i could just press buttons. It is a wii remaster, so.......

I wish the controls were a little better when walking and looking around, otherwise its a good game so far.

Looks great, but I don’t know how they followed up the masterpiece that was twilight princess with this.

Its easy to get lost in side quest on this game but that is what makes it so much fun. Exploration and imteresting characters left and right!

Sword welding without motion controls could have been more optimized. Still amazing game however.

My son loved it. Just what he wanted for Christmas.

Great game and love the graphics. I would recommend buying this; especially if you are a fan of Zelda.

I’m a huge Zelda fan, though I never played skyward sword upon its original release for various reasons. That being said I was excited to finally get to play this one. Man was this game a let down. In my mind I was ready to have such a fun time and to finally get to see what it was all about, but this has got to be at the bottom of my list of Zelda games. It was fine, I finished it, but it lacked the creativity and finesse that makes a typical Zelda game great. There was a lot of slog in this game, just slow pacing that left me feeling bored more often than not. Sad to review a Zelda this way, but it doesn’t compare to some of the other titles such as Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and of course Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. If you never played this one back in the day like me, I’d say go ahead and pass. You’re not missing much.

Better controls than the original Wii game. I like the switch version of this better than the original.

amazing dungeons and items, overly-padded story. still a wonderful game, but the most uneven 3D Zelda.
