Good game overall, but the unconventional controls will take getting used to.

I bought this because I "have" to have all of the Zelda games ... even if I own it on the original system, and the next HD remake, and the Ultra HD Remake with rumble support and gyro controls... That being said, There isn't much point to owning this unless you are like me. Breath of the Wild is simply far superior.

Good remake of the same game, somewhat enhanced graphics, blends well with the Switch controls.

It’s not breath of the wild but it’s a good game. Much more linear, fun puzzles, engaging combat.

This is the only 3D Zelda I’d yet to play, so I was glad to see it brought to the switch. It feels like the perfect console to port it to too, with the joy cons basically being Wii controllers. The only minor gripe I have with it is how bad the joy con connectivity is with the switch, but that doesn’t have much to do with the actual game itself.

Solid switch port, it’s a fun game but it’s showing it’s age. A must have if you’re a Zelda fan

A typical zelda game. In other words high quality. Where it fails is the sword swinging controls are weird. It was first a wii game and had shoe horned motion controls. They keep those for the switch and they aren’t great. They also map them to the right analog stick and it works….sometimes but overall the controls hold this game back.
