Great game now with the option of playing with a traditional style control scheme. Graphics still look great.

This is a remake of the original game. Just started playing. Graphic, storyline is great. Will update upon finishing.

Better than the original. Quality of life changes are great minus the requirement for the amigos' but hey its Nintendo.

As someone who has never played the original game, I am happy to be able to play what is essentially the definitive version. Not only are the updated visuals pleasing to the eye, but also how fluid the game runs, running at 60 frames per second compared to the original’s 30. The added button controls are a plus as well for people who are not fond of motion controls, like myself. Though they do take some time to get used to, that is nothing a couple hours of gameplay will not fix.

I never played the original version when it came out years ago. This version with the improvements is much better than the original. The graphics and the improvements to Frame rate Make the game so much better.

Excellent title for any rpg fan, especially fangs of other Zelda games. It’s a bit difficult to get used to the controls being swapped from the Wii version but after that it’s great.

I tried to play through this game on my Wii and I absolutely hated it. Motion controls were the worst thing to come to this series. Additionally, the Wii resolution is terrible (480p) so it looks horrendous on my TV. Playing the Switch version is amazing, the controls are great and outputting in 1080p means I can more easily tell what things are supposed to and read the text more easily. I beat this game, and it is great like all Zelda games are.

I’m really enjoying the game this time around. Nintendo made some great improvements over the original Wii version. The ability to play handheld without mention control has been nice.

Revisit Skyloft and the lands below or take the journey for the first time. The game play is great with some excellent dungeons! While there are 2 control options, using separated joy cons for motion controls, or using a single controller or handheld mode for more traditional play. The motion controls are similar to the original version on the Wii. Some will like them, some will not. The new control method allows for simpler gameplay, but it is not perfect either.

Love the Zelda franchise and this game is no different. Great story and gameplay.

Awesome remaster. I never played Skyward Sword back when it came out on the Wii. Which is good for me because it feels like I'm playing through a brand new Zelda game. The gameplay is dated but still satisfying if you're coming from Breath of the Wild. I had a blast. THe controls are annoying but you get used to them. It takes maybe 4-6 hours of gameplay and you'll forget that you ever hated the controls. Def worth it if you're a Zelda fan.

This is a pretty good HD remaster. Amazing story and gameplay. Only gripe is the flight motion controls.

Great FPS and enhanced visuals. Easy control and a trip down memory lane that doesn't disappoint. I was able to relive the intense moments and exquisite subtleties with my children. They enjoy this game and know what i felt when i was a kid

Much better version of Skyward Sword with better graphics and nicer controls.

A stunningly beautiful remaster, with upgraded textures. Added pro controller support, camera controls, and autosaves make this game superior to the original on the Wii 10 years ago. The game is the origin story of the Legend of Zelda series and filled with lore. Gameplay wise it serves as the perfect Link between the 3D Zelda games which began on the N64 and Breath of the Wild on the Switch. Trailers for Breath of the Wild sequel show a strong connection to this game.

First time playing it’s really fun it takes some time to get use to controls but other then that it’s really good

A lot of people talk smack on this game when it originally released on the way. A lot of those negative comments how to do with the motion control but I love the innovation of it. There’s a nice upgrade to the visuals and it feels like a new game. Well the addition of the button controls is nice, it does seem like the motion controls have taken a step back since the days on Wii. This is due to the fact that there is no longer the motion bar that sits over the TV.

Great game! Remaster of 2011 version of the game on Wii. The new controls and smoothed over graphics are great!

Gameplay is a little dated, but I'm enjoying it. Updated graphics and controls are great. If you played N64 back in the day, I don't feel like the look button is a big problem when not using motion controls.
