Customers are saying
Customers consistently note that the overall performance of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is awesome, and many appreciate the updated control scheme and gameplay. Some players enjoy the story and appreciate the game's portability and improved frame rate. However, a few find the gyro controls unnecessary and the game too difficult for younger players.

Good, not great.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can still remember playing Skyward Sword when it originally came out, despite the wii-mote plus (think that's what it was called) the controls for the game still felt a little off. Sadly despite having multiple control options that still happens to be the case with this version. The motion controls still have some of the same issues as the original version, frequent need to recenter the controls, and the pro controller options feel a little odd/off. Still it is a solid game, it just feels like they didn't put as much effort into the remake as they could have.

Better Skyward Sword
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Y’all, this game has literally shifted my entire outlook on Skyward Sword. What was one of my top least favorite Zelda games before (and the only one I never finished) has now become one of my favorites. Not being forced to do motion controls to play this game have made all that difference along with much better graphics and 60 FPS. Great entry for the

A much needed improved version of Skyward Sword
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played this game back on the Wii when it first came out. It wasn't my favorite in the series due to some pacing issues, and holding, and the controls. The Switch corrected a few of the issues and made the experience more fun this time around. While it features more traditional controls if you don't like motion controls, the motion controls with the Joy Cons seem much better this time around and are easily adjusted, unlike the Wii. Would recommend checking out if you like adventure games or Zelda games.

A very Belated Birthday
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a gift for my best friends very belated birthday. We tried it out at my house, and it is absolutely gorgeous. The game maintains the originals charm while still displaying the power of the switch with incredible graphics and color. Considering on getting a copy for myself to play through, and greatly recommend the game to any Zelda fan!

Great Zelda Remake
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never got to play the original Wii version, but I'm glad I could play this one. The motion controls can be finicky, but are a blast! This game is well worth the money, especially if you have never played before and like the other Zelda titles. This one is supposed to be the first chronologically in the series, so for Zelda fans, this is a must!

A great remaster of an underappriated gem!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the original Wii release from a decade ago but now its better than ever! Its the perfect time to play through this underappreciated gem if you missed it the first time. Improved visuals, QOL improvements and new control options make this the best version of a very enjoyable game.

All of the fun of the original with fewer annoyanc
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s just like the original Skyward Sword, but… —You have the option to use the control stick instead of motion controls. —The animation is way smoother —They may some of the cutscenes skippable, which is great if you’re already familiar with the story It was always a great game, but those tweaks make this the game the original should have been!

I missed this game for the Wii U and was glad to see if get released for the switch. Anxiously waiting for the Twilight Princess remaster and Wind Waker for the switch to complete the set.

The Great Beginning
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game is just as good as it was 10 years ago. With the upgrade of HD and 60fps, the game flows smoothly. Visually Beautiful. You get the option to experience the game with the traditional motion controls or with the newly added button controls. A great Zelda title thought to almost never make a comeback. Highly recommended if you've never played it.

An underrated gem
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't an epic open world adventure like Breath of the Wild... it's the last of the linear story Zelda games that came before it. But it's also the only one to feature full 1:1 motion control sword fighting using the Switch Joycons. That alone makes it worth a pickup.

Zelda is THE best gaming experience for gamers!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing all formats of Zelda since I was 16 years old. That was in 1986. Since then, I have purchased every Zelda game that has been released, and in every format it has been released in. I cannot get enough.
