A bad Zelda game is still a good game
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While not the best Zelda game and far from the likes of BOTW and others in the series, it’s still pretty solid. Many areas can feel a bit uncreative for Zelda and the controls can be pretty frustrating many times. However, the story is so monumental for series that I had to play. And on discount, this is a great pickup

Solid, glad I picked it up.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I missed out on this one when it was originally released on the Wii. The graphics have been updated but don't really compare to breath of the wild. The graphics aren't bad, just a little sub par. I originally started the game with the pro controller but quickly swapped to the joy cons. I really appreciate the the incorporation of motion controls and find the game to play better with the joycons. The game content is great. My son and I have really enjoyed the game.

Fun, but motion controls can be a pain sometimes
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I am enjoying it. The motion controls can be a little finicky sometimes, but that’s just kinda how motion controls are, and they aren’t terrible. As far as what I have played so far it is definitely not my favorite Legend of Zelda game, but is still enjoyable and I am looking forward to playing more. The motion controls are not always great, but I do love the action that comes with it as I have not played a game like this in a while.

Amazing remake of the original
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Enhances a few things from the original. The amiibo is super useful. The motion controls are still difficult to get used to but the option for playing without them is a great addition

Classic Zelda ocarina of time gameplay
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is pretty cool. It's like ocarina of time. It's more linear then breath of the wild but it is more like a classic Zelda game. I like how you can use the controller so you don't have to use motion controls if you don't want to. I have about 30 hours in so far and loving it. Would recommend.

Great Port!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Played this game back in 2011 when it came out and remembered enjoying it very much. Saw that it had a HD version for the switch and just had to get it! Very good game for any Zelda fan!

Welcome back Skyward Sword!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Skyward Sword HD! What else can you say! Now I have both SS for Wii and Switch. I can say the Joy-Con is WAY better than the Wii and it is really clean looking also! This is a great game to pick up and play! The handheld play is also intriguing and fun! Again any Zelda fans will need to get this!

Not prefect, but still solid
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed the Switch remake better than the original Wii version. The controls are still kind of screwy as you use the right joystick to use your sword (or you can use motion controls) not my favorite, but still a solid game for your switch.

Go get it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this game for my husband. He's a Zelda nerd from way back on NES :-) He loves it! We both play it. He's already beat it twice and now playing hero mode. If you're thinking about it, do it! Awesome game and storyline. It's definitely addicting once you start.

Fun game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never played the original game but I’m really enjoying this game as a first time player. The motion controls are pretty good they seem to respond best when I have have the switch in table top mode. Even in docked mode it does good but in my experience it’s been better on table top.

Skyward sword
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard so many bad things about the game but I think it’s great. I prefer solving puzzles over fighting bosses and this game has a good balance. It’s going back to traditional Zelda that we lost with botw. If you love Zelda, this game is a must have

Good buy overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Playing this on the Switch has made the game much more enjoyable for me. Sure, it's a little quirky in some spots, but it's mostly better without the Wiimotes (for me, anyways). Other than that, it plays pretty similarly to the Wii version, albeit with slightly improved graphics.

A masterpiece
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4.5/5, 0.5 of because both button and motion control is not good enough. The other parts of the game, the story, the gameplay, the map,and the music are all amazing! Buying from BestBuy can also earn some ticker which is beautiful to decal both phones and switch console.

having a blast!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far having a fun time playing this game. It was a bit hard to get used to the button controls at first but gradually gets better the more and more you play. I definitely think everyone should try to add this to their collection of play and experience a new story in the franchise.

Controls are still awkward
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game with awkward controls. I ended up playing as if it were Ocarina of time. I skipped the right stick secondary function to move the camera and instead used L2 to refocus the camera angle. Even with the awkward controls, this is a huge step up from the Wii original controls.

Good game, B- Zelda game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even a "bad" Zelda game is typically a good game. The game starts a bit slow, but gets into adventuring soon enough. There are two modes: Motion controls, and "standard" controls. They both have their foibles. The control feels a little tighter in Standard mode, but using the sword is a lot easier with Motion controls. Probably subject to your own experience though. This is a more typical Zelda game. Almost nothing like Breath of the Wild.
