Buttons make this version definitive
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is far better with button controls, as I was never the biggest fan of motion. Not perfect but good.

Zelda
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this game, but takes too much time to follow the story. if you have time this is a great game.

Amazing to see updates! Dat. Camera. Tho...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful to experience everything in updated graphics enhancements… A negative is the awkward camera controls.

Pickup was meh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 9 y/o is really enjoying the game. He is a huge Legend of Zelda fan. Pickup was disappointing. They didn't have the special decals even though we arrived at store opening to pick up our game. It was the whole reason I ordered at best buy. Game launch was underwhelming as they also had none of the other Skyward sword products in stock. I doubt I will be able to find the amiibo now.

It's More Frustrating than Fun
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played most Zelda games, but having never had a Wii, this one was skipped by. I was excited that I would finally get to experience this one. The idea of the motion controls was a big interest. Having had good experiences with motion games on the Switch, this seemed like it would be great. Having finally played it... I feel like I'm playing a different game than everyone else here. The controls are buggy and trying to play it without motion controls is nearly impossible. The story seems like it could be fun, but it's bogged down by pointless cut scenes. (There's a scene early on where the headmaster tells you to go talk to someone, and Zelda then adds that the headmaster could talk to them instead, so the headmaster agrees and says they will talk to the person. There's no point to this entire, unskippable exchange.) I've made it to the second temple, I know there's a lot more left but the buggy controls, constantly resetting the gyro, and the impossible camera control outside of using motion controls are making this a real slog.

Frustrating gaming experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the first time since I’ve payed Zelda I’ve been killed by a bat. Terrible controls and frustrating gaming experience. Two stars for the graphics and the story. Seems like it would be a great game but not interested in working around this mess. I play to escape from everyday problems not to be frustrated.

Great game, same 2011 graphics…
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Zelda game! Having lots of fun, I was expecting some graphic improvements, this is the same game from 2011.

Not bad, a little too linear
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy Zelda games and I have started playing games I didn't get to while growing up (like this one). This game is a little too linear for me to enjoy, while OoT and BotW allow much more freedom. Camera controls are a little annoying and took some getting used to.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never played this on Wii because of motion controls. Being able to play with a controller made me buy this game.

Nice release. Maybe overpriced
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controls are still a bit weird, but happy to finally get to play a release in the series I hadn’t played before.

I can take it or leave it
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frustrating game with a good story. Everything from the mechanics to the puzzles are frustrating in this game and no, not because they're challenging. Unless you were a big fan of the original release and want to relive it now in HD I'd skip this Zelda entry. Especially for 60 bucks... You'll have a better time replaying Breath of the Wild for the 2nd or 3rd time.

Skyward Sword
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid Zelda game. A little tough to get used to the controls/camera movements but once you do it is a fun game.

Classic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never played this on wii but now that’s it’s on switch I gave it a chance and honestly it’s a great gem. And should be part of any fan of Zelda it has great music and bosses and it’s a call back to the old classics nothing like botw which is honestly so bland
