One of the best Zelda games I have played. My partner is really into Zelda so he played it first. I avoided all the spoilers after that I ran through this game. Graphics are awesome. Only second to the story line.

A sequel that not only surpasses the original but also establishes new gameplay mechanics that will influence the series for years to come. Truly epic.

My daughter spent endless hours playing it. Recommended

I didn't get my pre-order bonus, that was a bumer. However, tokt is a great game that allows you to put your creativity to use and build whatever you want. If you just want to play it as a classic zelda game it also allows you to do that.

This new Zelda game seems to follow gameplay very similar to the last game in the series, Breath of the Wild. Nintendo has seemed to have taken the formula and improved on it in many ways. My kids are constantly discussing and referring back to the lore, characters, and lands that they encounter. It seems that the main storyline can be played through fairly quickly- but there is more than enough to sidetrack you beyond the main narrative. So to summarize, if you are a Breath of the Wild fan you will really like Tears of the Kingdom. If you prefer LoZ games from prior generations, the open-world may be off-putting or lacking in general direction. If you did not like BotW, this sequel may not hit for you- but be aware that games like this are why you probably bought the Nintendo Switch in the first place.

Great plot and plenty of side quests. The graphics look great for a switch game. There are so many places to explore and quests to do that you can put as many or as few hours into the game and still love the story.

This was my gamer wife's most anticipated game and let me tell you she is super impressed. The thought that went into the whole Zelda game series is more than amazing. It is mind boggling fun and entertains for hours. Best Buy is also the place to pre-order Switch 2 so we are waiting for that also!

What a follow up to BOTW, this is probably the best game I’ve ever played!

Undoubtedly superior to the original version in every way. Without spoiling anything, the new "rune" abilities are fantastic (Though I question the need to have the map be included among them when a dedicated button for it already exists). After 30+ hours my only real complaint is that arrow counts aren't shown unless the bow is aimed or the inventory is opened, Rupees and other currencies now require the 'A' button to be pressed to pick them up, and the map being listed with the rest of the "Runes" limits the total amount of "Runes" possible in the game. Other than that, the story so far is better than Breath of the Wild, the controls feel the same or better, enemy variety is better, and the new effects and items address concerns or issues from the previous game. Well worth the $70 price point, don't listen to the whiners online.

This game is getting game of the year. The game play and story are amazing. I bough a copy for each of my two daughters for good grades, and they absolutely love it! If you're on the fence just get it. You will not be disappointed.

Been looking forward to this game for 4 years. This is a great sequel to breath of the wild. Developers have done a great job with fixing some components from the first game and added a bunch of new skills and abilities. Great open world game.

such an amazing game! i cant put into words how much it has exceeded my expectations <3 i’m only 30 hours into the game and there’s still so much more exploration to do, however, it feels like an actual horror game because of the depths lol

Gameplay is intensely satisfying. It is like BOTW, but with much more to offer including quicker response time and the story line leaves much to learn from and work on. Fully immersive,, it embraces many hidden gems from past Zelda games too

I haven’t played any Zelda games, but I kept seeing all the rave reviews and knew I had to see what all the hype was about. Beautiful game! Amazing graphics, character designs, and story. A must for any Zelda fan or Nintendo fan!

Honestly runs the same as BOTW but you have so many more things to do as well as the abilities being so much more innovative and useful in TOTK. The story is much better and overall just a really good experience and worth the day 1 purchase!

The amount of detail and work put into this game is unbelievable. I had high expectations from the first game, and they definitely delivered. Has a great story with soothing graphics and fun gameplay.

Incredible game. It has elements of many mainstream titles all packaged in a game of Zelda. The map is Huge. There are so many things to do. Some titles like assassins creed give you endless boring tasks. In Zelda the t rewards make it worth it. You need to use your brain for the puzzles. Whether it be how yo get a chest out of the river or manipulating objects to get you where you need to go. It has it all.

I recently purchased The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for my Nintendo Switch from Best Buy, and it has been an extraordinary gaming experience. As a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild, it expands upon its predecessor's open-world design with remarkable innovations.

Takes all the amazing features and expansive world from Breath of the Wild and improves and expands upon it even further. Along with some quality of life updates, this is the definitive open world Zelda and a must play for Switch owners.

Tears of the Kingdom is the type of game that could easily takes months to complete because it's just so jam-packed with adventure and exploration. There's so much familiarity but also so many new avenues to head down. Well worth the wait.
