This is a generational defining game, much like the first game, however this game makes Breath of the Wild look like a tech demo. Nintendo has once again proven to one of the best game developers 30-35+ years since the days of Arcade. I think if you enjoy puzzle, crafting and engaging tale, you will enjoy this title. With that said it isn't for everyone. This game does not hold your hand but will encourage you on your adventure. For some, as I've heard is a bet boring since it doesn't carry you from point A to B. 90% of this game will be performed by the player and how creative they are when it comes to their specific adventure. I have not completed the game yet, so take this review with a grain of salt. I have already put in several hours and wanting more as I have only scratched the surface of the 3 sandbox areas this game has to offer. Did I mention this game is huge? Seriously huge that things in the distance, actually take time to travel. It's a great adventure if you have the time.

I still today dont believe BOTW is worth all the hype it got. Fun? Yes. Masterpiece? No. TOTK on the other hand is amazing. I had more fun in the first 3 hours than i did in the first 3 of BOTW. The creation aspect is fun and can be silly. The story is interesting. Highly enjoy it.

A seemingly impossible task was laid before the developers to try and one up what they had done with Breath if the Wild. Theyve met and even surpassed all expectations woth flying colors! Not only is this game of the year material, its probably one of the greatest video games of all time.

GAME OF THE YEAR, this has managed to take everything that was amazing from the last and improve! The story and plot twists were fantastic and had me wanting more at every turn. I really enjoyed the amount of side content that was in this one compared to the last.

This is an incredible sequel to Breath of the Wild -- I thought BotW was a perfect game and was worried about how it TotK could live up to it, but this game adds so much depth and excitement to that already very solid formula. Highly recommend for anyone regardless of prior gaming experience!

Fantastic game! My 6 yr old loves it. It allows my 6 year old to problem solve and explore in ways that makes the most sense to him. The puzzles and building system cause him to think critically about solving problems different ways.

Made the previous game feel unfinished. This game is HUGE and just as (if not more) entertaining than the last game. The boss fights were incredibly more memorable as well. Already cant wait for the next chapter(or at least another master mode dlc)

Tears of the Kingdom, like Breath of the Wild is a work of art. You can play any way you like it (Speedrun, Completionist, play with a handicap, etc). It is so expansive. It literally is a whole other world. For the price you get hours of fun. It really is a Best Buy (see what I did there?).

I gave my daughter this game with the console, the carrying case and the link character as a gift because LINK is her most favorite character so this was the best gift I could’ve given her she tells me so yes I recommend it wholeheartedly

Fantastic! Nintendo has upped their game! I had high expectations after playing breath of the world…and so far this game has surpassed them. Depth of the game, quantity of quests-and sheer expense of playing area is impressive. My kids and I have to fight over who’s turn it is to play!

Love the game so much played it so much. It is way differnet than any other LOZ games but i do like it still. The second one if fun too. It is very time consuming of you want to do everything and dont have a squirrel brain like me lol.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom truly shows Nintendo's ability to improve on an already impressive world. The introduction of new mechanics, world evolution, and impressive graphics (on aging hardware), all lend themselves to an exciting adventure with an emphasis on freedom and creativity.

since i bought it my son hasn't stopped playing it, just take the switch for this game, it's huge, the shrines are more difficult and very well designed, in general it's too much you can do, it's practically infinite, I think I won't have to buy him more video games in years hahaha

Great sequel to breath of the wild. There's a lot to do even after you complete the main story . It'll keep you playing for awhile. The gameplay is smooth and the graphics are crisp. A must buy for any Zelda fan . Or anyone looking for a new game to try out in general. Highly recommend .

Simple and clean! This game is interesting as it is similar to the previous game but it adds so much more! My partner loves it, he is on this game 24/7! He tells me how much more fun it is and how his concerns regarding the first game were fixed. He is having the time of his life.

One of the best games of all time! I thought the original (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) was great, but Tears of the Kingdom is so much better. The crafting mechanics that allow you to create bridges, vehicles and weapons, limited only by your imagination, are incredible!

Overall if you liked Breath of the Wild ( which I did) you will like this game. It is breath of the wild with a build mechanic unlike that in any other game and even more exploration to be done. If you did not like the size of the world in breath of the wild this may be a pass for you.

Excellent follow up to BotW. I didn't think it was possible, but they pulled it off.
