An amazing counterpart to breath of the wild, didn’t think the original could be topped,,, but I think heems got topped

I am not berating this as a failure but after much consideration, I would review this as a good game. I still highly recommend this to anyone but I would temper their expectations for this beloved sequel. The map is similar to the first game but now includes upper and lower "worlds" where the lower gets somewhat repetitive in the layout and you feel a burden when doing missions in them, with the saving grace being using the new power you acquired at the start. There was potential in the lower "world" but might have come down to a "Weird Nintendo Decision" in that regard. The next would be the AI teammates... yep they are AI that gets into fights where you don't want to fight. Most of my gameplay resulted in me not using them because of this. After all these decades not one company has ever made a game engine with a competent AI system. I won't harp on the build system because every game has one nowadays, to each their own guess. Nothing really new you'll pick it up quickly and with the building save feature it was a godsend. The fighting is still the same as the first game, the layout is still bazaar and finicky. You still have to do those weird inputs when changing different weapons and ammo types. I am not one of those crazy players who use gyro controls to backflip 360 no scope off a shield while attaching a sword to an explosive arrow curb-stomping a Bokolin into a Moblin 180. Is it a skill issue for me? Yes, I'm old sue me. This is a GREAT squeal THAT should have come out with the Switch successor and possibly needed an extra year or two to cook. This is one of those games where the small inconsistency doesn't bother you first but doing something over and over again you can feel the fun come out of the game after you see it. The greatest of storytelling with action pact boss fights along orchestral music that makes you feel like a god-slaying hero with every note. And the characters that make you feel like it was a waste because you can only experience this feeling one time. Just to be pulled out of because of obsolete gameplay functions that are a decade old. This was supposed to push the game industry forward not put a wall just to slam into it.

Simply amazing. Its pretty much BoTW, but better, in almost every single way, although I kind of liked the divine beasts more than the regional phenomenons.

Another home run for the Zelda series. TotK expands on the crafting elements of the first game, opening up entirely new realms of possibility.

Nintendo is really good in putting quality i yo their games, and it shows here. If you are a fan of the other Zelda’s then you will not be disappointed

Tears of the Kingdom is breath of the wild but better in every way. The amount of creative things you can do with the new building system alone is incredible.

This game is amazing all around and will go down as another timeless classic! The gameplay and new abilities, map, music, and dungeon puzzles are spectacular!

Definitely more challenging, enemies are everywhere, seem faster and really chase after you. They are better with bows, and a new one is particular terrifying.

This game is a great upgrade from its prequel “Breath of the Wild.” It has also become one of my top three favorite Legend of Zelda games of all time.

The best game ever I was able to play it on my sister oled switch and it is good able to build stuff and rewind time to the graphic is everything that was good

Best game I have ever played! Highly recommend to all Zelda fans and even non Zelda fans. If you are new to the franchise you will fall in love!

Amazing open world game. It doesn’t drag, perhaps one of the most fun open-world games that exist today. It rivals Elden Ring in its pure bliss and enjoyment.

Just like breath of the wild this game completely reinvents the zelda series. Yes it is amazing what this game can do, but it also has a good story (so far).

TOTK is probably the best game ever made for Nintendo Switch. To truly appreciate this game, buyers should consider getting BOTW and playing that one first.

Best Zelda game to date. A must buy even if ypu're not a fan of the saga. Of course i recomend to purchase Zelda Skyward Sword and Zelda Breath of the Wild.

Never played zelda before was fun to learn how to play, really big open world map with plenty of missions and hours of entertainment!

Absolutely incredible game and a development feat. Every time I sit down with this game, it feels like I find something new. Makes me feel like a kid again.
