Very fun, my husband really like it. Upgrade version than the old one. More stuff to go and do in this one, worth the money

I started playing video games in the late 80s. Breath of the Wild cracked my top five games played within hours of starting it, and I didn’t think it would be possible for this sequel to live up to the bar BOTW set. It does. I own a PS5 and XBox Series X, and since I bought this game, those two consoles are dead to me. Zelda is so much more fun than anything else on the other two systems. And at the end of the day, that’a why I started playing games, because they’re fun. And this game is too much fun to put down. Buy it.

I honestly did not think it was possible to take the masterpiece that is Breath of the Wild and build upon it to make a better game. This is not the same map taken from BotW and plopped into Tears of the Kingdom. Same area? Yes, but it is SO much more and goes deeper than I expected. Every single thing they have added feels welcome. Whether it's the new sky islands, new mechanics, or new armor sets, it all feels like it should be there. This is a MUST BUY if you own a Switch. $70 well spent.

Some people complain that it's "too similar" to Breath of the Wild. I disagree. I think it's the perfect sequel to it, and a very strong game on its own and very engaging! The storyline is a little more linear, which I think is a great thing for such a vast game, but you can still go as deep into quests as you would like and can definitely choose your own path. 100% a must if you have a Switch.

The game itself is fantastic, however the price tag of 70 wasn't really justified considering the reused assets, music and engine.

Overall, it is a great game. The abilities are fun to play with, and the game is an excellent prequel to the original BOTW. One of my few critiques is the story, being that it is nearly non-existent. BOTW has a better story and more beloved characters (And BOTW has a similar problem with its story). I have nothing against the storytelling or characters in TOTK, but you probably won't get invested in its story. Despite the story, it is still overall a great game.

My personal favorite game for this year. It is so expansive and immersive that a person could lose themselves in it. I don't see how anyone finished 100% of this game because there are so many different things that a person can do. The creators and programmers of this game outdid themselves. The only thing I would add to it is to be able to use the Wii move controlling with your body.

"we've only just begun" was a song done by the carpenters back in the '70s and I have to say it fits this situation. I feel just like others that have already begun playing this game. This game is EPIC!!! This game has so much to see, do, and explore. This is in no way a DLC for Breath of the Wild...Far, far from it. The difficulty is as you would expect it to be: Challenging, but still not too frustrating. Definitely will buy a second copy for my own switch. (I own two.) What are you waiting for....buy it already!!!

Just getting started on the game itself. Graphics are great for a switch game. Open world plenty to explore. The follow up to BOTW.

Touching storyline. Breathtaking beauty. Unbelievably huge space to explore -- an absolutely massive scope. 40 hours in, I was still finding brand new things to discover. Nintendo took all the things that worked great from Breath of the Wild and combined a number of quality-of-life improvements that made it easier to control with wild new ideas that work out to be incredibly fun. Tears of the Kingdom ranks in my top 3 favorite games of all time, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Excellent game and very fun to play. I like that it lets you play the game how you want. You don't have to fight bad guys until you want to. You are free to roam and gain weapons and strength while fighting some lower-level bad guys. Lots of climbing and flying and skydiving. It's like playing the movie Conan the Barbarian with some flying and skydiving and magic. I'm terrible at video games so I recommend watching videos online to help with the game.

I am an avid Legend of Zelda fan and this game is another success to add to the collection. The wait was well worth it. Graphics are gorgeous, game play is engaging, and you can spend so many hours getting lost in new areas and worlds created by Nintendo. Definitely a must buy for any Legend of Zelda fan.

Amazing game. love the open world concept beautiful graphics, harder than the first one, love the story telling. Music is awesome.

A amazing sequel to a perfect game. Stands on its own and provides a nice follow up story to the 2017 game.

Breath of the wild was Nintendo's attempt at pushing the Legend of Zelda games forward after they had become stagnant in the industry. Tears of the Kingdom takes another step forward and fills in the empty set pieces of Breath of the Wild with new life and character, as well as introducing ablities that completely change your expecations of how to interact with the world. Expansive, well worth the money, and fun right out of the gate even for new players. I highly recommend it to anyone looking.
