Pretty much Breath of the Wild all over again, which isn't a bad thing. There are new abilities and a larger map making exploration just as fresh.

Never played zelda before was fun to learn how to play, really big open world map with plenty of missions and hours of entertainment!

Ive been playing this game since it came out and haven’t been able to put it down. I suggest everyone get it and dive into the world just as I have.

Excellent game! Preordered because I fell in love with Zelda’s Breath of The Wild. A must have for any old-school or new-school gamer. 5-Stars!!!

Zelda has become my GOTY hands down!! The more I play the better it gets! Nintendo really nailed it with this one. A must have for any Zelda and Link fan!

Botw was OK but Totk is simply outstanding. It improves on small flaws and makes small interface adjustments that result in a much more fun experience.

My fiancé loves this game so much! He borrows my switch to play it, but at this point we might buy him his own switch since he’s on this game so much!

If you like the original Zelda for the switch then you’ll love this one. It adds new gameplay while feeling familiar

I pre ordered this game and picked it up in person at my local store. Even with how many people were waiting in line I still was in and out pretty quickly.

It was so easy to pre-order and pick up! My son was able to play the day it released (which was something he really wanted). He absolutely loves this game!

Love the game! Only adds to the pluses of the game and stuck to the correct formula. The first was arguably a 10/10, but this... 10/10 and then some haha.

It is a fantastic game full of non ending entertainment!! I have suggested it to many of my friends and hope they enjoy it as much as I do!!

Fully expecting a rehash of the previous title, Tears of the Kingdom does an excellent job of improving upon the original title in many innovative ways!

If you’re on the fence about this game- just get it! Absolutely loving the game play, graphics, puzzles, and memories of one of my favorite hero stories.

Great game! Still an impressive game coming especially coming from a seven year old switch and a BETTER RPG than Final Fantasy XVI! Sic 'em, Torgal!

I am not berating this as a failure but after much consideration, I would review this as a good game. I still highly recommend this to anyone but I would temper their expectations for this beloved sequel. The map is similar to the first game but now includes upper and lower "worlds" where the lower gets somewhat repetitive in the layout and you feel a burden when doing missions in them, with the saving grace being using the new power you acquired at the start. There was potential in the lower "world" but might have come down to a "Weird Nintendo Decision" in that regard. The next would be the AI teammates... yep they are AI that gets into fights where you don't want to fight. Most of my gameplay resulted in me not using them because of this. After all these decades not one company has ever made a game engine with a competent AI system. I won't harp on the build system because every game has one nowadays, to each their own guess. Nothing really new you'll pick it up quickly and with the building save feature it was a godsend. The fighting is still the same as the first game, the layout is still bazaar and finicky. You still have to do those weird inputs when changing different weapons and ammo types. I am not one of those crazy players who use gyro controls to backflip 360 no scope off a shield while attaching a sword to an explosive arrow curb-stomping a Bokolin into a Moblin 180. Is it a skill issue for me? Yes, I'm old sue me. This is a GREAT squeal THAT should have come out with the Switch successor and possibly needed an extra year or two to cook. This is one of those games where the small inconsistency doesn't bother you first but doing something over and over again you can feel the fun come out of the game after you see it. The greatest of storytelling with action pact boss fights along orchestral music that makes you feel like a god-slaying hero with every note. And the characters that make you feel like it was a waste because you can only experience this feeling one time. Just to be pulled out of because of obsolete gameplay functions that are a decade old. This was supposed to push the game industry forward not put a wall just to slam into it.

I love this game, my favorite by far, i already did like 560 hours

Amazing game! Theirs so much you can do besides the story and just get creative with building things to help you move or fly!
